This location made me drive a truck back and forth, then charged me to drive the rental truck all the way from Herriman to Woods Cross when I had scheduled it to be dropped off at a location closer to where I had moved. The staff needs more support and needs to learn how to actually handle customers. I wish I had done my business somewhere else.

My daughter recently bought some inventory in Bountiful from a place that was going out of business. In order to transport the inventory she had to rent a UHaul, which transported the inventory to Lehi, UT. The truck was driven by someone who had the time to do so. While unloading the truck an ulcer on my toe exploded and I wasn't able to drive the truck any more. My daughter asked me to call the UHaul place and ask them about returning the truck locally since there was no one to drive it. When I called UHaul after telling me the call was being recorded a flat-toned receptionist answered the phone. When I explained the situation to her the tone of her voice became very rude. She gruffly explained that the truck was overdue and that if it wasn't returned by 4:45 that day they would call the police. After calling another UHaul company to find out where to complain I was told this wasn't UHaul's policy. The place in Bountiful was unmoving and refused to change the contract. Now I have to drive their UHaul with an ulcerated toe 40 miles when I'm not supposed to be driving and no one else is available. Based on my experience with these people I would recommend renting a UHaul from anywhere but here. Their customer service was inexcusable.

I recently moved and utilized Uhaul for packing boxes AND due to a major screw up by the company I hired to move me, had to rent a Uhaul truck on the day of my move. The staff at Uhaul are always so friendly and helpful and took good care of me.

Needed a storage unit to place my belongings moving between apartments and rented a storage unit from this location for a month, and then rented a cargo van to move my stuff out once the new apartment was available. Reserving the unit online was pretty painless and staff was pretty helpful and friendly, although like many locations, it can get pretty busy at times.Biggest gripe during my last visit was on the same day I returned the van, I had requested to close out my lease for the storage unit to prevent being charged another month and was told it would be taken care of, only to find out days later they failed to close out the account. While I'm grateful that the staff was present when I visited again to reverse the charges, and I understand this location has had shakeups with some workforce quitting, I would have rather they had been vigilant in making sure this hadn't occurred in the first place.

This review is strictly for Bountiful Moving & Storage. U-Haul is great, but this location is awful. Choose a different rental location in the area, there are several.First, I have a 9 am reservation. Terry, the first employee to arrive, opens the doors at 9:10 am. There is already a line. He did the best he could, bless his heart, but it was nearly 10 am before I was helped.Second, if I had wanted pads or a dolly, I would have requested them. But there was still a dolly and pads secured in the rear of the truck. I did not want to have to work around a dolly I had no intentions of using, and Terry kindly allowed it to be removed before I took the truck. I would have appreciated it if it had not been put in the truck if I didn't request it.Third, they charged me for pads that I didn't request, had no need for and didn't use. I didn't even touch the bag they were located in. I called multiple times today seeking that charge be reversed and was continually told the manager was busy and would call me back. I didn't receive a call by closing so I ended up calling U-Haul directly and was promptly refunded.Poor service and customer beware of tacked on charges.

I scheduled an appointment online to have a hitch installed. Uhaul cancelled and rescheduled my appointment twice. The second time, I asked for a refund. They were able to find the parts all of the sudden. They didn't install it right. There is a cord hanging from below my car. Good luck getting them in the phone or getting help. Anytime I'm there, I'm standing in lines for 45 minutes plus at least.
