I have rented here for years, and they have been great to work with. They have a great maintenance staff and get things repaired fast.

I have seen so many reviews talking about getting in touch with the office/miscommunication and many other problems. I called in, as well as emailed for availability, pricing and a date to do a tour for a 2 bedroom 2 bath.Had a friend call in this morning and they stated they would hold the unit I believe it was the Park Place one I could be incorrect, it was next to St James & St Charles. Stating that they would do a tour in regarding one. The website also states that it is available and able for a tour. It's very frustrating to find that none of these are available, but are on the website still ready to be booked for rental. On top of this their way of checking emails is either very bad or they are packed in bookings, which I am doubting you have over 200+ applications to not be able to check an email in 1-3 business days. At this point what is the point of emailing when you are guaranteed not getting the unit now.I have done business with wholesalers, investors and property flipping. This was by far the worst experience I have had.

I love it here. I have lived in quite a few Apts before and this has been the best experience by far! Maintenance is quick to repair anything, management especially Sam is the best to work with and answer questions to resolve anything that is needed. She is truly the best manager ever! They have been so helpful in my own personal situations to make living here so much easier than any other places. I gave a 4 out of 5 only because I wish there were more activities such as Bingo to get to know others better. But the ones I have known are the kindest, sweetest residents!

I had to leave in a hurry and they were human about my circumstances and didn't charge for the full 60 days of notice you're supposed to give, which they were entitled to do.Every time I needed something from management I was met with friendly staff, Abby and Neti, and they'd sort me out. I recommend Village on Main.

I moved in December 2021. I've had a couple of unpleasant experiences of course. I went from home living in Georgia to apartment living in Utah. I had reservations after reading reviews. All I can say is my experience with management has been excellent. If I have a problem and take it to management it's addressed. I have a medium sized SVAN. We are in a routine now and love to walk around. The only drawback is other animal owners don't pick up after their dogs. Service animals or not it's not the responsibility of the apartment management/maintenance. I see maintenance constantly picking up dog waste. I do think they should add a couple more animal waste bins, one one each side of the property and one in the back of the property along the fence lines.I do like the use of the indoor pool/hot tub. It would be nice to use the outside. Neighbors that get to know each other actually invite families in the wintertime to the indoor and those families reciprocate by inviting to the outdoor pool area in the summer. The inside of the apartments are very nice and the outside is well maintained. A plus about the two bedroom apartments is the rooms are on opposite ends of the apartment, the living room dining room and kitchen are spacious. Our neighbors are great. I have nothing bad to say about MY experience here, with my neighbors, management, or maintenance. The cost is worth the peace I get here.

VOM has been our home for the last 2.5 years and we enjoy living here. Good neighbors and convenient location. The management has been helpful and responsive, and the maintenance staff does an excellent job. From replacing a hot water heater to cleaning up the common areas the maintenance staff goes above and beyond. We really appreciate them going the extra mile when needed.

We lived here for almost two years and really enjoyed it! When we were searching for apartments, the Village on Main was a great balance of space and affordability. It is in a great location; there is a fantastic and well-priced gym on the first floor, shopping is just down the street, and it is tucked against a quiet neighborhood. The building is secure and we really felt safe at all times living here. The amenities are nice as well! The management staff has always been very friendly and respectful from application to final account payments, and we really felt like valued residents! They were very understanding about several fluke situations that came up during our time with them. Maintenance rocks as well, they are fast and always get the job done! We even had an emergency on the weekend and he came and saved the day!Management always gave ample notice regarding situations where they needed to enter the unit or if a utility had to be shut off. I feel that many complaints on these reviews regarding utility outage are unfair; we were always notified of these so that we could prepare and people need to understand that this is a commercial building with other businesses, so there are things outside of management's control, like a kid pulling a fire alarm in one of the businesses. Things happen!Again, overall, we really enjoyed living here. Our only complaints would regard other residents, but such is life when you live in an apartment complex. There were some situations where people would not clean up after their dogs [inside and outside], spill drinks in the hall and leave their sticky mess behind, and the fact that many people think the mail room is a Good Will when there is a donation center across the street. We were also particularly blessed to have a colony of elephants who lived above us, even making more noise than we made on the day we moved out. HOWEVER, absolutely none of this was the complex's fault, and no matter what, you'll always get to live near gems like these when you live in apartments. We love Village on Main!

I haven't seen an up-to-date review on this apartment complex. As we have just moved out I thought I would give an update. When we first moved in we were excited and happy to be here. It seemed nice when we toured and management made us feel welcome. Flash forward a couple of months and we quickly found out that the apartment was not in good shape. The sinks never drained properly, nor did the bathtubs. The dishwasher ALWAYS left our dishes dirty, there were leaks, the garbage disposal always sounded like there was something metal caught in it, etc. Whenever we made a maintenance request we faced a waiting period and then shoddy work. Often to the point that we would have to request the same repair multiple times. After we had given notice we notified them that we found a leak in the laundry closet and that it was actively leaking, that was on a Thursday, no one came until Monday to fix it and in the meantime it leaked down the wall and damaged the paint. I'm sure we will end up being charged for that even though we let them know. The cleaning crew also doesn't do a very good job, there is always spills and sticky spots in the hallways and garbage all over. It seems like the people that live here don't care about their home and so there is often pet urine or feces in the hallways or elevators. We knew it was bad, but didn't realize how bad until we moved and our new home is clean, well maintained, and maintenance comes the day you make a request and repairs whatever it is the correct way so you don't have to call back.I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

I have lived in the Village on Main Street apartments for almost 4 years. The staff is so responsive and friendly. The grounds are well kept and my neighbors are wonderful. When I moved to Utah, I only planned to be in this apartment for a year, but I have no desire to move.

The girls in the office at Village on Main are so sweet and friendly! They seem to really care about their residents and do the best they can to make everyone satisfied with their homes, which is quite hard to find these days. It is a safe welcoming environment and i think anybody would enjoy what they have to offer!

Awful place to live. I can’t wait to get my mother out of there! The water is off several hours a day several days a month. *update we are on day 2 of NO WATER The carpets in the hallway smell like dog pee. The high temperature in the hallway is so unbearable that I’m sweating before I get to her doorway. Today the water has been shut off for several hours and no word when it will get turned back on. It’s a nightmare. The appliances are old and broken constantly. A sweet lady in the ward was late on rent and they plastered her notice to her door opened up with tape so anyone could read it. They obviously did it to humiliate her. It’s disgusting the way they treat people! I’ve had it with the water for sure. It’s got to be illegal for them to keep the water off. My mother couldnt rinse soap off in the shower. She’s still sitting here with soap on her itching like crazy!! Do NOT MOVE HERE!! Nobody is happy here! Everyone regrets it as soon as they move in!!! It’s like paying 1,100 a month to go camping! *Update- It’s now day 2 of NO WATER. They have delivered port a potties on the grounds of the building!! This is half elderly community. They live here so they have grab bars and safety measures around them now they expect them to use a port a potty?? My frail mother would fall right in!!! Disgusting Disgusting Disgusting!!!

Resident from '12 to '18. I appreciate the staff here above anything else, they made things easy on the residents. The apartments themselves are perfect, as is the location. But the businesses located on the ground floor can be aggravating at times. Especially the 24 hour fitness center... Even from the top floor!I believe the water pressure situation is being worked out, and hopefully resolved. The snow removal crews and grounds keepers are quite good at keeping up with the accumulation during the winter months. The janitorial staff (I think it's just one person) is incredible, especially with how disgustingly messy some of the residents are in the public areas like the stairwells, elevators, and near the entrances/post office boxes. Maintenance crews have a working 24 hour standby cell phone that is actually answered by a person, and using the online reporting system for maintenance is great and fast.Fire alarm and safety systems are checked regularly for function, which is good because they are often tampered with by residents that smoke in their rooms. These issues are quickly addressed by the staff. The HUD inspections are another regular occurrence to make sure living conditions in the building are acceptable.Although I haven't made use of the indoor storage areas, it's great that they are offered if you need them. The gym is small but rarely utilized. It has everything that you'd need for a decent workout and is always in excellent condition. Coin operated washers and dryers are now serviced competently and the new ones work outstandingly well. There are security cameras located throughout the building, but sometimes packages do go missing from in front of your door. However, the staff is always more than happen to sign for packages at the front desk, or if one ends up in front of your door they are happy to put it in your apartment for you or hold it at the desk.

The staff is so great here. Every apartment I have lived in has their fair share of issues as most everywhere does, but the staff manages this place so well and gets things done while still having a smile on their face during rough times. I appreciate being taken care of a resident and feeling like I matter. Feels nice compared to my past experiences.

Although the staff is trying to stay professional and manage all they can, they simply can't keep up with the chaos of this place. I have lived here 2 years and can fairly say I know a bit about this placeHere are the reasons you should avoid moving here:-The fire alarms frequently trigger false alarms and this has made people disregard them. This would be extremely dangerous if we actually needed to evacuate.-When the water is working, it's not properly filtered. The mineral content of the water is so high it dehydrates you and leaves water marks on dishes.-The size of the building makes it prone to problems with all utilities and maintenance can be very slow to fix it.-Speaking of maintenance, expect them to take at least a week to change an air filter. (I'm not kidding)-Rent here is more than the average monthly mortgage. Given the number of tenants and the disadvantages this place has, it doesn't make sense to charge so much for a very small living space. (Size is of course relative to the number of people in a home, the size is fine for a single person or a couple, but cramped for three or more)-The gym, kindergarten, number of people, and nearby main street make it very noisy and just passing by someone's door you can hear what's going on insideI know the staff is doing their best, but it is beyond me where the money goes when it's clear the building is understaffed and so many things need fixing.
