Great resort for families. Budget friendly and easy to get to without much mountain driving. The resort has something for everyone. Limited park terrain for those who desire. Only down side was their backpack rule, I'm sure it's for good measure but really inconvenient. Haven't experienced it the 20+ resorts I've been to.

Had a lot of fun. Night boarding has a lot fewer people, so runs go by quicker! A little on the pricey side for me with 3 kids, but they love it. I bring up 2 loaves of bread and make sandwiches in the car to save some money. Easy drive up the mountain, and they plow and maintain it really well. I see small cars going up all the time without a problem.

We went to the night skiing and they only have one lift open. Intermediate. Don't go at night if you don't know what you're doing already because it's not a great place to learn. I took some of our kids that had never skied before and we barely made it down the mountain one time and ended up having to leave. They do sell helmets which is good because the snow is pretty hard packed. They unfortunately fitted my daughter wrong for her boots and her feet went numb, we thought from the cold but when we got her boots off her toes were warm. That was pretty scary and she was in a lot of pain. She had asked the lady, "should I be able to wiggle my toes?" and the lady didn't answer her. Watch your kids clothes when they are fitted with boots for the first time and don't go at night. Unfortunately during the day the price triples.

Is a fun resort.Went early in 2023 season (4th day).It was cold, fresh snow about 6”.Beautiful place. Not too busy, though only two lifts were open. Looked like you had to drive between the lifts. The staff were so helpful. My daughters were going for first time, couldn’t believe how helpful everybody was. Great experience.Used the rental place - super fast and efficient. In and out in a few minutes. Good equipment. Will be back.

Brian Head Ski Area is a great winter get-away for ski and snowboard enthusiasts as it is not nearly as popular as other Utah ski destinations. Nestled in the majestic mountains of Utah, this ski resort offers a delightful experience for both beginners and seasoned skiers alike.Upon arriving at Brian Head, I was immediately struck by the scenery. The drive up there takes you through a couple of small towns that are worth a stop, one of them is Parowan. The resort is perched at a high elevation, which not only provides panoramic views, but also ensures a consistent blanket of snow throughout the season. The crisp, clean mountain air is invigorating and adds to the overall exhilarating experience. The ski area boasts a wide range of trails catering to all skill levels. Beginners will find plenty of gentle slopes to build their confidence, while more experienced skiers can challenge themselves on the advanced runs. The lift system is efficient, minimizing wait times and maximizing time spent on the slopes. For snowboarders, Brian Head is equally appealing. The terrain parks are creatively designed, offering various jumps, rails, and boxes to test and improve your skills. The parks are well-maintained, ensuring safety and fun for everyone. One aspect of Brian Head that stands out is its family-friendly atmosphere. The ski school offers excellent lessons for children and beginners, with patient and knowledgeable instructors. There are also various non-skiing activities, making it a great destination for families or groups with diverse interests. The resort amenities add to the comfort of your visit. The lodges provide a cozy place to relax and recharge, with a variety of dining options to suit all tastes. The equipment rental process is smooth, with a wide selection of quality gear available. In terms of accessibility, Brian Head is conveniently located and easy to reach. The resort staff are welcoming and helpful, always ready to assist or offer advice to ensure a fantastic visit.

Beautiful country up there in the Brian Head Resort area. I did a fantastic week of solo mountain biking through the many trials available. Wonderful location.

We rode the lift, ate pizza, and drank wine, listened to live music outside, and talked at a table in the shade. There was a cool breeze...nice Saturday afternoon.

Beautiful scenery! First, I must preface that I haven't ever stayed in the actual resort because we have a cabin down the road, but this entire area is a breathtaking natural backdrop. If you enjoy being outdoors, in the mountains & surrounded by nature in every direction, then this is the ideal place for you! It's truly an amazing experience with multiple opportunities to enjoy the area! The location in the photos is called, Cedar Breaks, is just down the road from the resort. The photos Don't do it justice though! This is, by far, one of the most unbelievably awesome displays of nature, you'll find! Hands down! The resort area has a little lake, a park & a few fun little shops. Great spot for sure!!!!!

Unfortunately there is not a zero option. This was absolutely the most frustrating and miserable thing from recent memory. This review is for their disc golf course. If you go, you must carry a lot of water, have hiking boots, hiking pants, walking stick and binoculars. We have never played before but wanted to. You ride the lift to the top of the mountain 11,000 ft +, you then follow some signs around the top of the mountain and finally get to tee #1. The signage was fine to this point. You stand at tee 1 and you have absolutely ZERO idea where the basket is that you are aiming for. You pull out the map that they give you and it is absolutely useless and in many cases just wrong. We found a trail guide that works for the resort and he had no idea where the #1 basket was. So we hiked around for a while and finally found it. We just threw our discs from that point. Then you have to walk through waist high weeds to get to the basket disturbing all the flies, bees and other insects while walking to the basket. Then you need to find tee #2. There was a sign that pointed in a direction so we did our best to hike in that direction over and around trees, thick bushes and just miserable stuff. Once you do all that and your winded because it is 11,000 ft elevation, then you have to try to figure out where the #2 bucket is. Repeat for each hole. As I said it was miserable. Much of the time you are walking on loose rock and shale. Wife and I twisted both of our ankles and one point I slid down the trail about 50' like I was surfing, that was very scary. We gave up after 9 holes and walked a trail back to the lodge and demanded our money back. The assistant director of sales who I was explaining my complaints to was pretty much laughing and at that point, my head almost exploded. You have been warned if you choose to do this activity or deal with this company for anything.

I love Brian Head!! I've been coming here since 89' when I was a young buck!! I learned how to ski and snowboard on the Navajo hill, and loved when I finally got to giant steps! (The novice lifts, and advanced lifts) I would absolutely recommend a weekend trip as well as a several day stay. The accommodations are wonderful, and the cost is reasonably priced. If you love skiing or snowboarding, or if you just want to explore the mountain snow then Brian Head is definitely the place.

Epic destination for spring break 2023. Snow was outstanding. Rental process was super easy and we were able to pick up our ski equipment the night before with our lift passes so it was straight onto the lift the next morning right at open. All the staff we worked with were super kind and cheerful. A relative had a vehicle issue and they let us park in an staff only area while we got the problem solved. One staff member even climbed under the vehicle and inspected the transmission, totally above and beyond service. We also had a mild injury and ski patrol arrived swiftly and took great care of us. 10/10 would recommend Brian Head to anyone looking to enjoy some winter sports.

Small but moderately enjoyable "value" ski and summer resort. We have skied and ride 1-2 days per year the last few years in January or February. They typically have well groomed trails and some steep trails that turn to bumps. There is not much vertical or steep terrain, so we are bored of doing the same runs after two days. There are lift lines for the best lift-the high steps quad- but they are not usually more than 10 minutes at worst on a Saturday and Sunday; however, the line control is often lacking so it encouraged people to cut in line. We were mostly satisfied over all, but would not stay more than two days.I would give the mountain, scenery, resort and facilities four stars, but the pricing policies, ticketing issues, lack of lift line management, and overall feeling that skiers and riders are tolerated because they provide money drop it two the stars. I am concerned about the planned growth of the resort that was recently announced. I appreciate the need for more terrain, but I expect that the prices of everything will also increase, making the resort less affordable, like so many other resorts in the country. Hopefully, the remoteness of this resort will keep it from growing too much in size, cost, and crowds. There reloadable passes were in need of tlc. The first set did not work, and the second set worked for the first day and not the second. In the end, we had to wait in the lift ticket line at least three times and they gave us a regular pass.Refund policy is strict. Make sure you have your correct dates. This makes some sense for lift tickets, which are reduced quite a bit when purchased in advance. For equipment reservations, there is no benefit that I could see to reserving since the price is not reduced, there are no refunds, and the reviewers here indicate that they rent out equipment first come first serve, so they could run out of your size (size is not requested in reservation either).Their mountain bike park was under reviewed, so here is my thoughts. We loved Little Glitter blue trail, but so did most of the rest of the riders. Fortunately, there was not many people there even on a beautiful summer Saturday, and we almost never had to wait to get on the lift. They could use more intermediate trails with nice flow like Little Glitter. We did a few of the advanced trails like Lil Gritty, Timberline, and Tanks Track which we enjoyed but most of the technical obstacles are rocky steep sections, which are enjoyable as a challenge but do not have flow. The beginner trail Color Flow was enjoyable and had great flow with the occasional need to pedal up. Overall, we had a blast mountain biking - I enjoyed it more than snow skiing here.2022 update- the trails were damaged due to water or snow and not as good as in 2021. They needed to do some trail maintenance. We paid to ride the lift in summer with our kids and did the treasure hunt on the next day, which was perfect for kids age 6-12. They had a great time, including with the prize at the end!The outdoor ice skating rink is picturesque with little tree islands in the middle. We have done it twice. Both times our kids lasted about 45 minutes, which is when they kicked everyone out to smooth out the ice with their Zamboni. It was fine because our kids were done, but it would be a pain if we had just got there. The rink is small and can be crowded. The kids appreciated the beginner ice walker things to learn on. $25 per person was a little high though. The tubing hill was $25 per person too. There are free hills nearby, but you have to walk up. We chose to make our kids walk for sledding to save money.
