Nothing but rave reviews for this cute bnb! Plenty of off street parking behind the house. We were able to check in late. The defor is ADORABLE. Children not recommended for a reason- many antique stuff. We stayed in the Hunter room which had a twin and a full sized bed which was perfect. The bathroom was in the room- the water temperature and pressure was exquisite. There was a kitchenette in the basement- I helped myself to tea before bed. It was lovely to sit in the upstairs library and out on the fantastic front porch. Breakfast at 8:30 am with quiche, granola, and sausage. Coffee served at 7:30 am. Wish we could have stayed here longer than one night!

We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by a note on the back door giving access instructions. We got into our room and were overpowered by the smell of mold. Turned the AC thermometer down to get some air circulation and left the room to get some dinner. On our return the room smelled worse. We found that the AC vents were all closed, and the AC system was not working. Turning on the wall heater we were greeted with the smell of burning dust. The room had clearly not been properly cleaned for a considerable time. There was thick dust over horizontal surfaces. Towels in the bathroom smelled of mold as if they had been left in the wasing machine for a long time before drying. We were not able to contact the proprietors that night and it was too late to find an alternative. The room was uninhabitable and I had to sleep in my car.

It's a funny place. It's like staying in your grandmother's house and she just can't stop herself from buying every nic-nac she comes across at the local flea market. It's a pretty Victorian house. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nice but not special. Since it's a converted house you can hear all the noise from the neighbors in adjoining bedrooms. Still it's nice to have an option that's different from the national chains.

Stayed at the Big Yellow Inn in Cedar City. What a cool place! One block from the Shakespeare Festival. The lodging has themed rooms, 8 fireplaces, balconies, porches, and 12 themed rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the owners were wonderful. Great place to hold meetings also with a picturesque backyard.

Lovely home with ornate decor and lots to look at. Comfy bed and all the amenities you could need! Great location in town - walking distance to shops and restaurants. We ate a centro a great pizza place but make a reservation as it is that busy! Only one disappointment-breakfast was good but nothing special. However I would definitely return!

For those taking time off to either explore Cedar City, but especially watching a play during the Sheaskpear Festival, Big Yellow Inn is one of the few Inns privately owned and operate offering a homey atmosphere and service. It's located in walking distance to the theaters. I also prefer friendly and personal interaction with the owners over any large hotels chains.

Where to begin? The rooms and the whole house are works of art. The proprietors are incredibly nice. The hot breakfast was delicious and the fellow guests were wonderful to talk with. By far the most exceptional accommodation I've ever stayed in. Your entire vacation could be spent pursuing the home and its features.Walkability: Within walking distance of downtown

You will not be disappointed in staying here, it's worth every penny! I also want to thank the owner's Barbra and Scott for sharing your home and treasures. Rooms are beautiful, clean, and a nice place for themed rooms, all with bath tubs to Die for!

All the lodging in St. George was booked. We are SO glad we found the Big Yellow Inn and stayed here over President's Day weekend. 45 minutes to drive into St. George is no big deal. The owners/hosts are warm and gracious. The Gable Room was perfect. Delicious breakfast both days. We will definitely be staying here again, and avoiding the overpriced nonsense in St. George.

FREAKING AMAZING!!!!! Totally worth the price! Everyone should experience this place!Barbara and Scott are wonderful! Barbara makes breakfast every morning (and it is delicious), and Scott does all the grounds keeping care. This couple has put their heart and soul in to this BnB and you can tell! They are so friendly and accommodating. However, I would NOT take my kid here 10+ish would be ok, younger & you’re gonna be always making sure they aren’t breaking something beautiful and unique!
