“Joining High Mountain is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!! After turning 40 it finally occurred to me that I’m not getting any younger and that if I don’t build/retain my strength I’d eventually be unable to do my job as it is pretty physically demanding.I’ve never used a gym in my life so I assumed I’d need to work with a trainer so I get the most out of my gym time and didn’t hurt myself. I can also admit that I am NOT self motivated and need to be held accountable ? High Mountain has helped address these issues. I love working out in a group with a coach always present. There’s an amazing ‘we’re all in this together’ attitude at every workout and every coach is fantastic. They are invested in everyone’s success and WANT to see us meet personal goals, whatever they may be.I’ve turned into a ‘typical’ CrossFitter meaning I’m a junkie, I don’t shut up about it and I recommend it to everyone I know ? besides the physical benefits the mental shift I’ve experienced has been mind blowing and I want everyone I care about to have the same experience I have!”

“Definitely an older gym and it can be a bit inconvenient that the weights are in kgs or not labeled at all but I prefer it over retro. There’s no wait for machines and it’s not over crowded like the other gym.”

“Love the variety of machines, weights, and other equipment. I also love how many treadmills there are. Even though they’re frequently used, I’ve never had to wait for an open spot. I’m a big fan of the drinks and supplements sold as well, as I enjoy having those on hand. I’m also a fan of the point system. Earning points is motivation and encourages me to be consistent with my gym attendance.

Retro, however, can be VERY crowded during peak times. It’s important to map out when the busy hours are, as avoiding those will greatly contribute to a better gym experience.”

“Highly recommend this gym for anyone in cedar city! I was in town visiting for a week and was able to work something out with the owner which I’m extremely grateful for! He’s a super cool dude.
Snap is a smaller gym but has everything you want/need, is never super busy, and is also very clean and well kept. Oh and it’s 24 hours, so it’s a no brainer. It’s such a great environment. Also the boxing studio is a massive plus and is so nice. The whole gym made me feel like an old school athlete, I loved it.
Also the seats on the machines are so cushiony and comfy”

“Even though we just signed up, we have really enjoyed going to VASA. It's motivating to be in a gym with others that are working hard to be in good shape physically and mentally. Love the environment. They have sanitizing wipes throughout the gym making it safe as possible. Machines are great, free weight area, mats for stretching, kettlebells, etc. It's all there for every type of workout.”
