Red Rover Retreat at The Hitch'n Post is a grooming and boarding facility for dogs and cats. The groomers perform miracles, transforming matted and shedding pets into beautiful, silky animals. The boarding service is great, very clean, and the entire staff is helpful, friendly, kind, courteous, and cheerful. They treat customers like family and provide great service, including daily report cards and pictures. They take amazing care of special needs pets, administering required medications. The facility is clean and dogs in the play yard are entertained by the staff. Dogs and cats coming and going are relaxed, happy, healthy, and well taken care of. The staff listens to owner requests and works with them on scheduling. Many happy dogs visit for long stays. Customers are impressed and highly recommend the business, stating they will definitely be returning customers for both grooming and boarding, as well as for dog training.
The Hitching Post groomers always perform miracles on my black lab. I should’ve taken before and after pictures. She does not even look like the same dog. She was so matted and shedding when I brought her in and she came out black and silky and beautiful! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my dog.

They treat you like family. Great service. Love the daily report cards and pictures. I highly recommend. Our pup was happy and well taken care of. We will definitely board our dog their there again.
