Room was great. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I've had. Kass and Reanna cook a real breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles, everything was delicious. If you're looking for a great place to stay this is it.”

Cedar City“Yup. Every great review you've read about the Abbey Inn is correct. It's a two level motel with parking close to your room. It's a little older but in great shape. Clean and comfortable. I like how the HVAC unit can be set to have the fan constantly run, sort of a white noise generator. Although the location is very quiet, especially when compared to the big hotel chains located next to major highways. The in-room jacuzzi tub was great. Breakfast was great. I will be back the next time I'm in the area.”

It was winter, but I bet it's great in the summer, because they have a lovely courtyard, with a firepit and bbq area. The receptionist was kind, and the lobby was inviting. The room was large, with entry/exit both inside the main hotel and outside to the courtyard. Not all units are attached to the main hotel, though. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was quiet. The gym was great! Huge with lots of windows! There is a restaurant attached that was mediocre but convenient. Breakfast is complimentary. It was not the best, but there were a few different options, some hot. Overall, very nice!”

“It's a great place to stay with great conditioning, great water, and no noisy neighbors. The manager is a great guy and is really understanding. It's very affordable for what you get. The hot tub doesn't work currently but they are working on it.”

189 N Main St, Cedar City“The location is nice because it isn’t next to an Interstate which makes it decently quiet. It’s a lot cheaper than the other hotels in the area which makes it a good deal. It had all we needed like free breakfast and Wi-Fi. The only issues I had is how old and outdated the hotel is. The air conditioning in our room also wasn’t working.”
“This is one of those incredibly rare gems with great pricing, amazingly kind staff, and one of the comfiest beds I've gotten to find in a hotel in quite some time! I stay in hotels frequently for work. It's rather secluded making it a much better place to rest than most of the nearby options. I had accidentally left a rather tiny object after I had checked out and when I called them asking about it they were prompt and retrieved it for me within just a few minutes! I was so grateful. If you like squishy pillows and beds that you can sink into I highly recommend this place!! It's so beyond worth it. I had a truly wonderful stay here.”

“For those taking time off to either explore Cedar City, but especially watching a play during the Sheaskpear Festival, Big Yellow Inn is one of the few Inns privately owned and operate offering a homey atmosphere and service. It's located in walking distance to the theaters. I also prefer friendly and personal interaction with the owners over any large hotels chains.”
