I've been with this bank for over 3 years. I love that the branch bank here in Fillmore, Utah are very nice and know you by name. The bank also works with you in automatic payments. I love it.

SBSU has been great to work with. I have some business accounts with SBSU and every time I need anything, they are prompt, friendly, and get things taken care of. Their customer service line seems to be local and each person I've spoken with has always been wonderful. Every branch I've gone to (Santa Clara, St. George BLVD, and St. George River Road) has been equally great, friendly, quick, and helpful. Thanks State Bank!

I called about a construction site in St. George that they were funding, where I was being threatened with my life by staff, they were harassing me, and were also committing a felony by building there that was a threat to the public. They said they would call back and never did, but the place is still building. Highly unethical and dangerous. They are still advertising their support in funding for the building. Plus that was a threat to life which is an inalienable right. Wrong country for, such behavior.

I have had an account with you for over 2 years and made over one million dollars in deposit and yet You kept me waiting For an entire day to hear back on an auto loan before turning me down. I went into Mountain America and had the loan in minutes. I don't know how you guys got rated of best state.

Do not use SBSU for your loan needs!! When a “bank math error” was made on my loan, they wouldn’t eat the cost and take responsibility for THEIR math error! They just kept saying it was just an error on paper and that no money was coming out of my pocket, yet CASH was being transferred out of my account to cover their MATH ERROR. No other business can operate like that!! If I have charged a customer a certain amount for services, I can’t claim that I made an error 4 months later and demand more money from them. So frustrating! And then the loan officer made it sound like I was lucky to even gotten the loan at all….

I will NEVER bank at SBSU again! The loan department is absolutely ridiculous! Months after the closing they come back demanding more “down payment” money. Hard to trust a “bank” that can’t do simple math. They then try to send you a docusign to sign over with no knowledge of what you are signing. I also don’t feel it is appropriate that a loan officer (mind you papers were signed many months ago) has the right to look through ALL of your accounts at any time, suggesting that she can just move money from one account to “hers” to add additional down payment, but then states “well, the money isn’t coming out of your pocket”…..ummmm…yes it is! Nurses that work in hospitals cannot look up any patients chart they feel like due to HIPPA. Shouldn't banks have the same policies?
