DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I booked for two nights and ended up getting bed bugs. Showed the front staff and they said “they’d take care of it” even though it’s clear from the state of the motel they don’t care. Definitely stay somewhere else if you can

This is one of those incredibly rare gems with great pricing, amazingly kind staff, and one of the comfiest beds I've gotten to find in a hotel in quite some time! I stay in hotels frequently for work. It's rather secluded making it a much better place to rest than most of the nearby options. I had accidentally left a rather tiny object after I had checked out and when I called them asking about it they were prompt and retrieved it for me within just a few minutes! I was so grateful. If you like squishy pillows and beds that you can sink into I highly recommend this place!! It's so beyond worth it. I had a truly wonderful stay here.

You wouldn't think there's a ghetto in Cedar City. My friend who lives there denied the existence of such a place, until he came by and saw the junkyard and abandoned restaurant that border this hotel, for himself. The pool looked like it hadn't seen a drop of water since the last monsoon storm. When we checked in, I immediately noticed the strong urine smell emanating from the parking lot. Was informed that the ice machine was broken, which seems to be a problem persisting from reviews from several years ago. Also, at check-in, was told twice that no animals were allowed, and interrogated about the existence of any pets in my truck. There were definitely no pets with us, but she did not want to believe me, for some reason. I must look like a dog guy? Was there cat hair on my jacket? I dunno. The bottoms of my and my kids' socks turned black from the sticky substance that coated the room floor. We found a stained wife-beater tank top in between the layers of sheets, probably indicating that they were not washed before we got there. The A/C smelled funky and the remote for the TV didn't work. We stayed two nights. Paid in advance, around $140 per night. We were quiet and polite. Took our own trash to the dumpster. Didn't even complain, although there was plenty of reason to. We checked out late. Mea culpa- with three kids and a wife we usually do. But I've never been, literally, screamed at by hotel staff. Until I stayed here, that is... A man pounded on our door at 12:00 sharp and shouted in my face, "Vy you no get permission for ladecheckout!" Then he said we were going to be charged extra. Five minutes later, the woman at the front desk called and screamed at me. Over a $20 late checkout fee. Seriously. Ridiculous. I'd gladly pay $20 just to avoid being caterwauled at, again, by the front desk harpy. I have never been treated this way by any business. At least one of my favorite episodes of the Golden Girls was on TV Land, the night before checkout. The one where Blanche introduces Dorothy to her cousin, played by Leslie Nielsen. Classic! Avoid. Flee. Abandon all hope, ye who enter.

Needed a room, though I didn’t need a reservation. To my surprise it’s the weekend of the Solar Eclipse in Utah. Every room is booked, for miles. By accident we found the Travel Lodge in Cedar City, Utah. This Hotel was perfect for what we needed. We travel with two dogs and there is room to walk them. The room was clean and without issues.Lynn was on the desk when we arrived, She made sure we were happy with everything. If you are traveling through Cedar City or in the area. In need of Lodging. I would check out The travel Lodge in Cedar City.Walkability: We can walk our dogs with no problems.

This motel is dirty and sketchy. The metal lock on the door didn’t work. The bed creaked badly. The pillows smelled. The toilet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. There is no sound barrier between the rooms so you can hear everything outside of your room. It was pretty bad.

This website says that the room was $50 a night, but when I called I was informed that it was $90 a night and they would not honor their own website. I don't recommend this place to anyone and the lady was rude to talk to me on the phone.

Sketchy non inviting exterior, disgusting old stained carpet interiors with an unpleasant odor. Definitely the kind of place you don’t walk barefoot around. This accommodation was provided for me otherwise I would have never stayed here.

We payed in full a week before arrival. They, at no point listed the need for a deposit. When I arrived I was told there was a deposit and they needed a card. That's very normal and was provided with no problem. But, a bummer to not know ahead of time to set aside the correct amount of money required for the deposit. I was then told by Lynn, the manager, that they would also require my vehicle license plate number to be sent to a collections agency if I damaged their property. Another guest behind me, vocally, proclaimed that he would not agree to that either and would not be staying there either. I told her that stipulation was not listed when I payed for the room and I did not feel comfortable providing it. I was told to leave and that there would he no refund. As well as being called "shady" for feeling that request was to much. Now I'm being told that "all charges are valid" with no refund in sight for a stay I didn't have after the motel changed the agreement upon arrival. Meanwhile, I had to pay for another room somewhere else (another Wyndham property in the same town) with no strange requests. But am still out for a room I didn't use and am waiting on a deposit for a room I never entered or touched a key for.

Does not look at all like the pictures. The property is run down. The room was musty, dirty, and in need of repairs. I asked if this was a safe area and the front desk lady stated p=very proudly they had not had a break in for about 2 years! I had a very bad feeling about the whole experience and ended up leaving after being in my room for about 2 minutes. I went back down to the lobby and the lady's attitude did a complete 180. She was very rude and informed me of their no refund policy. I stated I would still not be staying there and would dispute the charges through my credit card company. I stayed at another hotel in a different part of Cedar City and it was wonderful!

OK. I knew I was going to be staying at a budget hotel. So my rating is in reference to other budget hotels/motels. My iphone map app took me to the back area (west of actual address). Then hotel entrance is along the frontage road. Now there's little to no eye appeal as you approach this hotel. But again, it's a budget hotel. The parking lot definitely needs some work. The building could use a new paint job and a facelift. The stairs were in pretty bad shape but were still safe to use. At check-in, the clerk asked if I'd like to upgrade to one of their recently renovated rooms for just a few $ more. I took her offer. My room on the second floor looked like it might be their signature "picture" room you see when see pictures of the facility. It was in pretty good shape. Oddly though, no pictures on the walls. The room has one of those in-wall AC units..which are a little too noisy for me. The TV worked fine but I can't remember clearly...but I believe it included movie channels. There was also a small fridge and a microwave. The bathroom area wasn't fancy or anything, but it was good enough. The hotel provides daily room service if you want it. Overall, the hotel was fine...just nothing fancy. They have a pool, but it was closed during my 3 night stay.
