Freedom Hills is great for discgolf. It has a beginners course with 9 baskets. It can be played fairly quickly and with little risk of losing a disc. The only downside is it won't be as fun for more experienced players. This place also has a nice hiking trail and pinic area with charcoal grills.

I was very impressed with this park. I enjoyed reading the patriotic plaques and the life-size statue of a soldier. Wonderful hikes that start at the park.

You can walk the paved paths or hike up to the Bonneville shoreline trail from here. There's also an updated disc golf course. Very good views of the valley and it's well maintained with plenty of parking. Good place to explore/take a leisurely stroll.
