Troy the technician who came out (the same day we called) was soooo helpful by not only fixing our minor problem but filling us in on some of the other basic operating issues we didn’t know about! Love Lifeway Mobility and LOVE our stairlift!

We were up a creek without a paddle when our Acorn Stairlift battery died, and Acorn couldn't help us until some undetermined date in the future, for which they were supposed to call us. After three days of my calling them, I Googled "stairlifts in Ogden Utah" and found Lifeway Mobility. I phoned on Friday. Brent came Monday at 12:30, and we had our batteries that afternoon--not approved by Acorn, but perfectly fine because we also bought a new Bruno stairlift. The service is professional and punctual.

Darijum came out last week to service our son's old Bruno stairlift that quit working. He tried everything, but let us know it was dead! We set up an appointment to install a new one. and they rearranged things so they could get out a day earlier. (since our son is unable to come upstairs without his stairlift) Darijum & Mike were very friendly and polite. They made sure we understood everything before they left. (the guarantee, how to operate, and when to call the company with any questions) We have been calling Accessible since 2015, and will continue to do so. Very please with this company and their technicians.

This business doesn't even deserve one star! This review will be long but you need to read it before doing business with this company. Jeff was helpful at first, calling and telling us even though our insurance company approved the Sure Hands Lift 100%, that sometimes since it is an out of network provider there may be a balance due. He then proceeded to make an offer to my wife that they would order the lift and if our insurance didn't pay for the whole thing Jeff would give us their demo model and Accessible Systems would keep the new lift our insurance paid for. My wife felt uneasy about that being insurance fraud so she told Jeff to hold off on ordering it to see if we could get Vocational Rehab to pay the balance, since they were going to pay for the lift if our insurance denied it. Jeff held off for about two weeks and then text my wife and told her he ordered the lift. My wife text back and asked if he had everything worked out with the payment. He text back "Not really but it will be ok" . The lift was ordered and delivered. The person who delivered it said that there was no balance due but a couple of weeks later Jeff contacts my wife and it turns out "it will be ok" end up costing us $2908.50. We didn't have everything solidified with Vocational Rehab either so because it was ordered and delivered they couldn't retroactively pay for it. My daughter is on a very expensive medication for her disability. It is $150,000 per dose and she gets it three times a year. We need every dollar we put in our Health Savings Plan to pay for the high deductible on this medication. We knew we couldn't pay for the balance on the lift and that is why we needed to pursue other options for paying for what our insurance wouldn't cover. Jeff has been pretty persistent about getting the payment. We don't like to not pay our bills so I called Jeff and made a deal with him that we would pay half of the balance and still try to file an appeal with Vocational Rehab to get them to pay the balance. If we won the appeal Jeff would refund the half we already paid but if they didn't pay, Jeff would cover the other half. Jeff accepted and was fine with this arrangement until he found out that he didn't get awarded the basement lift bid that we were working on with Vocational Rehab. The day he found out he didn't get the bid he text my wife that he needed the other half of the balance due. I have held off on paying because we need the money for the deductible on the medication which had to be paid for in Feb/March. Jeff contacted me a couple of days ago about payment and then proceeded to make an unauthorized charge on my credit card for the remaining balance. I used my credit card to make the initial payment. It was a one time payment and I didn't know Jeff was going to keep my credit card information on file. Whether I owe him money or not he cannot make a charge on my credit card without my authorization. I called him. I just got his voicemail. I left a message. He text me back quickly saying he would reverse the charge but he needs the rest of the payment by March 31. Jeff got himself into this situation by ordering the lift when he was asked to hold off so we could make sure it would be paid for. He should admit his mistake and accept that he might have to not get full payment for his impatience. He doesn't have very sound business practices. The sad thing is, families dealing with loved ones with a disabilities shouldn't have to deal with people/companies like this.
