I have been an AFCU member for almost 40 years. I have personal accounts, business accounts, cars loan, boat loan, etc. In the past I have always gone to this branch. Pathetic is an understatement lately, constantly questioned about checks I deposit into my business account, simple car loans for kids as they grow up are seemingly impossible, honestly branch management is awful. After all these years I started shopping banks for all of our accounts and loans when I went into the branch of Gentile in Layton. WOW! The employees there totally changed my mind, friendly, caring, and genuinely seem to care about keeping my business. I’ll never set foot in the 1700 S Clearfield branch again. Sad, I’m willing to drive an extra 20 minutes, passing Clearfield to go somewhere my business is appreciated.

Usually pretty good customer service. Expect when the lobby is full and and there are 4 team members working. But one decides to leave or take a break instead of helping the members standing in the lobby, so than it just gets backed up even more. Other than that pretty good customer service usually.

the lines get terribly long here while employees that could help are just walking around doing what they want while only a select few are helping customers

I've been with America First Credit Union for over 20 years and have never had any problems with them. No fees to withdraw from the ATM, no minimum amount needed for checking or savings, and friendly people who work with you to get loans or access your account.

I tried to get a savings account here but they wanted to check my credit, I was in the process of buying a home so I decided agenst it.

Not really a review for this location, but more so for this company. They make it EXTREMELY HARD to pay off credit cards in a shot. Like they want you to remain in debt. They’ll let you pay whatever you want when it goes to collections, but if you’re just trying to pay it off you’ve gotta jump through serious hoops to do it. Horrid. Really trying to get my fiancé to get rid of this company.
