“Fresh Market, South Ogden, is a convenient grocery store located off Harrison. This store has a great bakery, fresh produce, flowers, cards, makeup, seasonal fare and decorations, and includes a pharmacy. I usually make quick trips here. The prices are higher than your go-to, large box store grocery store, but comparable to Smith’s. Their hours are 6-11. Plenty of parking. Fresh Market is located in a shopping center that includes McDonald’s, Great Clips, Dollar Tree, Subway, beauty supply, fast food and restaurants, and a gas station.This store is generally clean, well stocked and organized.”

I no longer live in Syracuse, I now I live in Roy and it is well worth the drive to Island View were I have all my prescriptions. Syracuse has rapidly grown over the last 20 years but Island View has managed to keep that small town feeling while keeping up with technology to help increase their customer service. It's like the middle child of fuel got left out of the party. ?♂️?♀️And let's talk about the wait – it's like a marathon for cars! ?♂️? I brought a book, read it cover to cover, and still had time to contemplate life's mysteries before my turn arrived. Seriously, I had time to write my car a heartfelt letter of appreciation. ??Oh, but the plot thickens – guess who's slinging cheaper gas across the street? Walmart gasoline, the underdog of the fuel world! ?⛽ I mean, aren't we Sams Club members supposed to have the golden fuel ticket? “Can I say that I love that Smith sends me coupons for broccoli, peppers, avocados! Coupons used to only be for processed unhealthy foods. I love Smith's! I have comparison shopped a $200 Pick up order of groceries with Walmart And Smith's came out $10 cheaper. The quality is better and I can feel a little better about the money spent being a little bit more local :-). Their pick up service is fantastic! It is now free and I save money by not impulse shopping, and I am increasing the menus for my family because I'm able to shop for ingredients that are foreign to me but the Smith shoppers can find and put in my car for me!”

“This pharmacy is great, the techs and pharmacists are awesome. Great experience. But, they are a busy location and pharmacy (the industry) has changed in the last few years making it so techs and pharmacists are overworked with less help and more work with vaccines (techs now can get certification, but that means they are away from other duties). Retail pharmacists have been overworked for decades. Even with filling machines and the amount of employees they have, they are STILL working when they should be taking a break. They are simply overworked and all these reviews show it. If Kroger invested in their employees, this would be one of the best pharmacies to go to. They could utilize what they have. It is simply corporate cannibalism of their own pharmacy after they ate up local, small pharmacies that could have taken the excess in vaccines and other dispersants of medications on back order for unknown timelines.”

A stark opposite of the big chain pharmacies that have become the "norm" of today.The owner that used to be there was such a sweetheart!
