When I signed up with Velocity everyone was egar and out going i stopped in yesterday and the kid in the wash was more interested in his phone than my truck. I canceled my monthly on both cars last week and was considering renewing my membership until yesterday.

**Pros:**
- Good vacuums
- Compressed air and rug cleaner
- Thorough wash
**Cons:**
- The car wash is slower than others I’ve tried.
- You have to talk to someone, even though they have automated scanners.
- The overall experience of getting a wash takes a bit longer due to the need for interaction and the slower process.
- If you’re older and want some human interaction, this is the place for you.
- The car wash experience takes longer for these reasons, and it feels a little rough on my car, though that's somewhat subjective.
- They’re open from 8 AM to 8 PM, so an early morning wash is not an option.

I am super upset. I’ve been coming here for years and never had an issue until now. When I was looking at my car after my wash i noticed these huge scratches. I am so upset with my experience.I tried to wipe them off but after looking closer they are indeed scratches :(

Great Service & Friendly Staff!
Velocity Car Wash in Layton is top-notch! We went through the wash, and when it didn’t get some sap off our windshield, they let us go through again — no hassle at all. They’ve got everything you need: free rags (real towels, not just paper!), window cleaner, vacuums, and more. Super clean setup and really friendly people. Customer service like this deserves five stars!

I got my car scratched after the needing to go through the wash 2 times. washed my car today at this location and got the elite wash I went through and the car was still not clean, I went and talk to the manager and they said to go again because sometimes it doesn’t register the order so the second time I went the wax was applied because there was an orange light the second time but the big problem after the second time my car got scratched all over both sides. Please let me know if you notice your car being scratched after going through the car wash on 06/10/2025 around 4pm to 5pm

Not bad for the cheapest wash. They do need rags for afterward to clean everything properly. The dash wipes are as useless as a 1 ply napkin on grease. Reconsider how you'd like to detail your car after a wash, especially after the amount of money you want.

After driving the west Davis highway at dusk there wasn’t a spot on the front of my car that didn’t have a bug. They took the time to pre spray all of the bugs off and my car was clean in just one wash. I’m always greeted like an old friend. The monthly membership is a great value if you like a clean car!

I signed up for my Velocity plan in Vernal, Utah where I live during the week. I visited the Clearfield location on August 10, 2024 and was helped by Kamryn. I live in Layton, Utah during the work week. Kamryn was a very patient and helpful employee. She took extra time to help me and I value any employee who will take time to help a customer. She also didn't make me feel like I was taking too much of her time, or that I was a dumb "boomer"--- people who are old and don't understand--but not my generation............ Thank you for having such a good employee like Kamryn! I felt valued and heard as she assisted me.
