About Steed Pond
Steed Pond is a lively neighborhood park with trees providing shade. It is a beautiful place and a far-cry from its past as a polluted swamp. Now it is gorgeous and supported by the city, offering a wonderful place to walk dogs, watch ducks, go fishing, or eat on picnic tables in a covered pavilion. The park has a playground, a BBQ area, restrooms, and a beautiful bike path. It is a fun place to have fun with friends and just chill, with activities like fishing, sand volleyball, and flying kites. The park organizes cool Halloween activities with lighted floating pumpkins. Visitors can sit on really nice benches and watch fish swim and ducks make a fuss. It is an all-season park, though some note the fishing yields lots of bluegills. It is a wonderful place for an outing, providing a space that can make awful days much better.

I didn't know that was the name of it until Googled it for a Candlelight Vigil. It's lively with people, trees providing shade, fishing and a playground.
