I had an appointment last week and showed up 10 minutes earlier than I was scheduled. The employees were nice, but let me know there would be a minimum 45-60 minute wait to see the optometrist. They also said this type of wait is fairly usual and the only options I was given were to wait or to reschedule, neither of which were conducive. After waiting a bit over an hour, the doctor seems like he was trying to get me out the door as fast as he could. After 5 years of coming to America’s Best, we will not be returning.

Ordered my contacts 2+ weeks ago, they said it may take two weeks, totally get it!I called today 3-4 days over the 2 weeks asking about them, they said they got them on the 9th.I asked why I wasn’t called? “Oh sorry it’s an automated system”I never got a call, I’d absolutely would have loved to have had my new contacts when they came in, this is the second occurrence of no contact, customers should NOT be required to call in to find out they are there. DO BETTER.

if i could give 0 stars i would. we didn’t even get an eye exam because the receptionist couldn’t even figure out how to put our info in and wouldn’t accept help from her coworkers. she really should’ve accepted the help, because they wouldn’t have lost customers. by 20 minutes, she still couldn’t figure out HER WORK system and recommended rescheduling because she made us late for our appointment. i will never be revisiting the clinton location. please properly train your employees! also, have a talk with her about the attitude and excessive eye rolling.

I had a great experience here. My exam was quick and easy. The service I was especially impressed with was provided by Liz in the front of the store. I told her I was going to have to wait until my next paycheck to order frames. She worked to find me a deal where I ended up getting two frames and the eye exam for $51. The exam alone would have been $60. I appreciate that she took the time and care to find something that would work for me. Liz was amazing!

Terrible experience. buyer beware. They are saying contacts for astigmatism are on back order (5 months now) but were happy to charge me for the contact exam and say nothing about it beforehand. They are friendly and work quickly but are terrible to work with after I had paid. Had to call 3 different times cause they never called me to get my glasses, I got my 2 pairs of glasses a month later than they said I would.

I took my father in to get new glasses and Wow everyone was so friendly and helpful. The staff was so patient with me and my father . Especially Liz! my father took all the necessary time to pick what he liked and needed. They have a great variety of glasses to choose from. I will highly recommend this place and will bring all my family here when we need any new glasses. Thank you America's best contacts & glasses. For marking our life so much easier.

Liz at the Clinton store is an all star!!! Her attention to detail and thoughtfulness for the customer is outstanding. Truly made me and my son feel well taken care of. Like she took us getting the best glasses at the best price personally. We will be back again in the future.

I go in and instantly the girls at the desk talk to you with an attitude, I shrugged it off and had my eye exam, the doctor is great, brings me back out to pick out glasses and the girl at the desk is supposed to help and instead she talked loudly and made me feel stupid because I’ve never done this before. It is her job to make you feel welcomed and those two girls made me feel stupid and embarrassed me in front of everyone in the front of the store. I purchased my eye exam and will be going else where for assistance because that is ridiculous. Terrible customer service. Luckily “Lucy” was there and stepped in and helped me, made me feel welcomed and better about everything. If you do go to the Clinton store ask for Lucy and she will make your experience the best you could have even after the other girls treat you like they are better than you, and make you feel very unwelcomed! Thank you Lucy!

Clinton office got my son in right away. Much faster that our regular doctor could (only reason he went here). Experience was not the best. He needed a prescription for the brand of contacts he has been using for years. The staff argued with him and the doctor was rude to him because they were adamant his brand was on backorder for 8 weeks and would only give him another brand he was unfamiliar with. They didn't have samples of the new brand for him to try. Felt like they were pressuring him to buy from them, even though he told them he orders online from another company. My son went back in to again ask for what he needed. Eventually they gave him the right prescription and we were able to get his brand delivered in a few days. Maybe this was a lesson to just stick with an actual doctor's office?

Everyone there was awesome! They took care of my mom! She said that the manager, Jenn, was very helpful and took her time with her. Dr Perez was very through and they are making her a good pair of glasses and she said she felt they worked hard to get the price lower in her price range without sacrificing quality. We would go back, no doubts!!

This was not a great experience, never got my trial pair of contacts, called and called and I had my eye exam in April and it is now July. I get they were on back order but they didn’t order them the first time, they said I had already picked them up when i hadn’t. It has just been not a great experience. Finally called again and they said they had some that I could try. Asked to get my script printed for me and I waited over 20 minutes for someone to help the poor girl figure out how to print. Jen is not great either she did t help the employees when she was needed. Not a great flow.

Staff was friendly, but they need to be more transparent about the cost up front. Like their catch on getting a free exam (or in my case not free) with the purchase of two pairs of glasses…When I arrived to my appointment I found out that the doctor wasn’t going to accept my insurance (even though it was a listed insurance on the website). I asked the receptionist about the glasses/exam deal and she confirmed that if I bought two pairs of glasses I’d get my exam for free. However, I was scheduled for a glasses/contacts exam and she DIDN’T tell me that that kind of exam wouldn’t be covered with their deal.I have the exam, pick out my glasses on my own (because all the staff was busy talking to each other about lunch and when the last appointment of the morning was going to be)…when I finally got with someone to ring me up I find out that I have to pay an additional $100 for the contact exam!Here’s the thing, I’m all for paying for an exam where something is actually done, but the Dr literally looked at my current box of contacts and copied it down for my new Rx, he didn’t do anything extra outside of a normal glasses exam!! (And I would know, but I used to be an Ophthalmic Technician)…Very frustrating.After reading others reviews on getting their glasses made incorrectly I’m just hoping I don’t have to deal with that issue next. There’s definitely a reason they offer such cheap deals….you get cheap service. Definitely will not be returning to this location.

Liz was amazing! I went in to get my glasses adjusted and after several attempts Liz noticed the frames to be defective, she immediately got a new pair of frames popped my lenses into them and I was on my way! Excellent customer service, thanks Liz.
