I am giving 1 star due to my experience with Jiffy Lube. I brought my car in for normal oil change and maintenance. They inspected my car and did an oil change.
They told me that I needed a new serpentine belt and front brakes. I said, that is fine, you can do that as well. I came on a Tuesday, because I wanted to make sure everything was good before I drove 600 miles for a special event happening with my nephew. I was supposed to leave on Thursday at 2:00.
They had my car for 3 days, and they told me that it would only take 30 minutes initially. Later, they gave me my car back. It had a broken solenoid valve and they did not tell me(they told me that they broke it) and my check engine light was on. I brought it back and I could not leave on Thursday for my trip as planned due to their mistake. They told me that they would fix it in June. I said, "well, I am supposed to leave now". They ended up finding the part that day (after they said that they could not get the part), but after replacing the part, the car would not start. I told them that I needed them to rent me a car, because I needed to go. They told me that they would get me one the next day first thing in the morning...
I called in the morning and went by and nothing was done. Then I showed up with my wife and kids about 4 hours after they opened... And they said "sorry we can't get you anything until 3:00" and when they saw that I was upset they went back in and came back out and said, actually we have a place that you can rent the car now.
Later, they refused to pay for insurance on the car. They made me pay for the rental and they refunded me for the rental, except for the rental insurance.
I left for my trip and I got back, it took about a week of me calling daily for them to refund the rental car (they did not give me all the money-- due to rental insurance).
Then, finally after more than 2 weeks they got my car fixed after they broke it.
Now, I am noticing the belt squeaking that they replaced as well.
To summarize, my car was broken by them. The check engine light came on because of them. They tried to let me leave with my car broken (from them breaking it). They also let me leave in the broken car with my daughters in the car. They kept my car for more than 2 weeks. Everything that they did to make it right-- was after I was arguing and talking to them. They would not do the right thing on their own accord-- it took constant follow-up.
I chose not to fight back with them on loosing 90 dollars on the rental insurance, because I was tired of fighting with them. Of course they should pay for rental insurance, because I should not be driving without insurance. If I had my own car, I would have been driving under insurance. Even the rental car company told the jiffy lube employee there that it is normal for them to cover that when this type of thing happens.
If I drove with no insurance and there was an accident, I would be coming back to them and they would have been liable for not covering that. They are lucky that I still got it.
They were not logical. They were difficult to work with. It was the WORST experience that I have had at any store/shop in my life.
This could have been a 5 star review if they had treated me better and if they had cared more about fixing the problem without me fighting them on everything. Accidents happen, and that is fine, but do the right thing... On your own... That is all they needed to do.
UPDATE: As you can see in the reply, i was asked to send info to see if it could be made right; however, I have waited over a week and have received no response. I sent my info to the email provided. I will update this if I am contacted and things change.

I should thank this Jiffy Lube. After they misquoted me on the cost of filter replacements, failed to put parts back together correctly and failed to add enough oil they gave me the courage to start doing my own vehicle maintenance. If you want something done right, do it yourself!

Went in for an oil change. There were three cars ahead of me and I was quoted 40 minutes to an hour (what!) to complete the change. We were hungry so we decided that would be fine and went to get breakfast. Showed up 45 minutes later to find they had just put my car in the bay and we waited another hour to get our car back. This is no way to run a business and I doubt we will ever go back. What a joke!

Never available to help out of the 150 times I’ve ever been here to try and be served. Always act too busy to even ask why I’m there even when there’s no cars in the bays. Don’t waste your time here. Go to grease monkey across the street.

The bathroom needs to be relocated. It is quite offensive to smell someone's waste as you're waiting for service. Took a little too long. Staff was great and helpful. Tell the Griffins to spend a little $ and remodel for a better experience.

Took way too long to do emissions. The "bay time" at the end was 55 minutes, according to their computer. My car was in the bay almost an hour.I received a follow up to my review saying "please email us some can fix this". They never responded. I would give 0 stars if I could.
