So disappointed about your store getting rid of Steve who is very knowledgeable about fish. It’s hard to find good employees who actually know their customers and who know details about their job which benefits the customers. I know people who came to this Clinton store just because Steve was so helpful.

Just found out, they fired the absolute best fish and reptile keeper over some political crap that they’re running as a corporation!! We’ve came here for the amazing fish selection and I’ve spent a ton of money just because of that and sadly enough today will be our last day. We love the other people there however, Steve is the one that kept the place running! Good luck, Petco being a corporation and not caring about people we won’t be spending our money here anymore I advise others to do the same

Such a disappointing day! We arrived at our favorite Petco today with the horrible news that Petco leadership made a ridiculous decision and fired one of the best fish and reptile keepers in Utah! Thank you Steve for the 7+ years of doing such an incredible job at this location! We have been coming here for all those years (from nearly 50 miles away) just to see the incredible fish selection Steve always produces! We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this location thanks to him! So sad! Why does corporate America have to ruin Such great things!? Horrible day for the Utah Fish world!

The Only good experience I have ever had at any pet supply chain was Steve and come to find out he was fired. I made sure to go in on his schedule because he had the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I will be boycotting Petco now. Thanks Petco

Hey Clinton Petco, you have officially royally messed up! I have been to both Riverdale and Clinton and was really unhappy for years, started getting my dog food and anything else from chewy, then one day I needed something quickly and went to Clinton also wanted to check out the fish, and that is when we met Steve, I haven’t gone anywhere else since. You fired the best employee I have ever met at Petco..:bad move! He has so much knowledge, someone who actually knows about fish and reptiles, and very friendly, I always know when he hasn’t been in the store for a couple of days, because the tanks look awful! He keeps that store running and when I see employees standing around, he is always moving!
I have never never seen an employee at any store promote the store like Steve does, he puts things out about your store, promos and new creatures, on social media groups all the time, as I said that is unheard of for an hourly paid employee of a store to do that. I seen many, many reviews of how much people love Steve at Clinton Petco.
You have gotten rid of a great employee and I guess I go back to Chewy and will find other places to buy my fish now. Bad move Petco

Went in to use the self wash for my two dogs and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The wash room was filthy and disgusting, the floor was soaked with water, there was hair in every single tub, the room was filled with empty bottles and dirty brushes, there were no clean brushes or towels and when we had to locate an employ we were given two flimsy towels and a dirty brush, no ear cleaner, no sprays, the soap in the automatic hose thing wouldn’t work, the dryer didn’t work, I washed ONE of my two dogs and he didn’t even get clean because the wash system they have wasn’t working and the other tubs were so dirty it was the only one I could use then the blow dryer didn’t work, my dog left wet and cold and the other still dirty. I asked for a refund and was only given a refund for the dog I didn’t wash, despite telling the employ that I was going to have to find someone else to take BOTH dogs and re-wash the one, the manager didn’t even make an appearance.

Was 15 minutes late ONCE to a grooming appointment and they tell me I have to reschedule when I am physically there? My dog has gone to them plenty of times, and the one time I am late they are rude to me? No grace period? Absolute crap. This place has gone downhill. They have plenty of times messed up on my dog and I never held it against them. So this is inexcusable on my end. Lost a customer for good. Bye.
UPDATE: The fact this company is trying to have me connect with them to “walk me through” their late arrival policies is actually laughable and back handed disrespectful to an upset customer. Not only have I had NUMEROUS times being upset with the service here, but now they explicitly show how they treat their customers in the comments back. I rest my case.

Disappointed, this store and the fish especially were nasty! We found many dead fish bettas included. Feeders were floating multiple days without being cleaned up, it’s sad! Others in our family went in and the mentioned it to the staff to and they said (the staff said) oh yeah that’s normal and that they let the other fish rest in them a bit…??? Um no thank you!!! Nope I’ve worked at a Petco and also been a customer at many over the years. This and the whole store (garbage overflowing outside too) needs a deep clean!!!

Clinton Petco is my go to. They are always friendly and helpful. They have the food I need in stock at all times. I love the easy return policy if my dogs didn't like something new I tried. I definitely recommend

Clean store, friendly staff. Had the chew toys i need for my dogs. Good selection of toys.
