I am so grateful for Dr Atwood and staff for service and support they gave to me and Thor. I had taken him there since he was a puppy and always received friendly service. I feel they truly care about the animals

Always takes great care with my senior doodle. Labs are affordable and they answer all questions. The Thrive membership is so worth it to have him seen any time when I have a concern.

Took our golden retriever who was having issues for about 4 days. Couldn't get into my regular vet for over 10 days. I called and was able to get a appointment the very next day at Vetco. The vet and her assistant Birdie were able to diagnose his issue and he was feeling much better that evening. Did such a great job. Will be going back yearly for shots. So much more convenient for us.

I took my cat there with some concerns that he was intermittently pooping blood. I mentioned that as a kitten he had diarrhea with blood in his stool as well. Back then the vet said it wasn’t a problem. This time the vet did give us some options and we left with probiotics. Saying he had a sensitive stomach. Something the veterinarian did focus on was that my kitty was overweight. He was 9.4 LBS. She recommended foods to help him lower his weight. I told her I would rather focus on why he was stooling blood, than focusing on him loosing weight. Since he wasn’t super overweight. She mentioned it a few more times and did a quick exam and sent us on our way. A little over a month later he died, he had something called FIP. That “overweight” was fluid is his stomach that was collecting. The vet at the hospital mentioned that any vet could tell the different between fat and fluid in his tummy if an exam was done correctly. They emptied 500 milliliters out of my cat’s belly and he still had more. When he died (after all the fluids were emptied from his body) he was a great total of 7.4LBS. Yes, I remember cause he weighed nothing. He was only 1, he turned 1 a little after the first appointment. I work in the healthcare, I know human bodies, not animals . I trusted Vetco with my kitty(Satoshi), I advocated for him, but was written off as, “it’s not a concern” and now he’s dead. My two other cats miss their brother. My husband and I miss the kitten that we adopted and now have to miss for the rest of our lives. I will not be bringing any of my cats here ever again. And I would hope that if I come encounter with any of Vetco’s workers friends, parents, children, anyone that they care about. I know that I will do a great exam because to me they aren’t just a person to get money out of. It’s not just a job. They are people, someone cares about them. I hope they NEVER EVER lose someone due to a provider not caring. The way that my cat was just another box they had to check to get through their day.

This was our first time visiting Vetco. Our Bo was taken care of with care and we were comfortable and at ease with the procedure. They also gave great advice regarding foxtails!

I will not be coming back. Canceling an urgent surgery for my dog 15 minutes before our scheduled drop off time is absolutely insane. This clinic clearly doesn't care about the wellbeing of your fur babies, and when called on it they harass you via text, calls, and email to 'apologize'. Because of the lack of empathy shown, it has me questioning any other previous care I received from this Clinic as I no longer feel like I can trust them

Had an appointment today at 12 with vet Krystal Atwood and her sweet vet tech. Did an amazing job with my scared kitty and gave me great information without any pressure to select the options that were too pricey or not affordable right in the moment. They treated my kitty so well and were so patient and kind to her. Thanks for your kindness and knowledge!!

Two stars because the Vet Tech was the only one actually worth seeing. Zero stars for every other aspect! I took my dog in for an ear infection. His normal vet was almost three weeks out. I was 15 minutes late but called first to make sure they could still fit me in, so I was ready for an in and out appointment. Short and sweet was perfect for me. I checked in and we went to an exam room. The vet tech came in shortly after. We went though the standard Q &A and I was told that they would most likely give a dose of Claro but wanted to do a cleaning and ear swab/run labs to confirm that there wasn’t something else going on. I asked if we could go with the medication without the labs for the sake of time and an additional $200.00. If it didn’t work then I would follow up after a week, no problem. Everything seemed fine. The tech sent me the estimate for the exam and meds. I signed it and then she told me that my dog needed to be taken from our private exam room to the “back” for the vet to take a look at him. It seemed odd that the tech could examine my pup’s ear in the EXAM ROOM but the vet couldn’t. I said sure and after she took him away I began to wonder if there was actually a Vet on staff. It was a HUGE RED FLAG when the Vet then walks out from the “employees only” door, white coat and all with the tech following behind him. However, my dog wasn’t with them. They walk in the room and I asked where my pup was. The vet told me he was with another associate and that he was fine in an extremely dismissive and condescending manner. It was apparent that he didn’t like that I was concerned about why my dog had to go back there to see him but yet, he was now in the room seeing me without my dog??? My next question was, will we be able to skip the testing and just give my pup the Claro, like I discussed with the tech? He seemed irritated and snapped back with yes, but we have to tell you the prices first. I informed him that the vet tech had already taken care of that and the estimate was signed and approved beforehand. He mumbled okay as he had already started to walk out of the exam room.
After a couple of minutes I hear through the closed back room door and my exam room door, my pup LOUDLY whining/ howling like he does when he is hurt. The receptionist was already walking towards the back room door bc the noises were so concerning. I asked if that was my dog and tried to get to him but was told “oh, he’s fine, he’s good. Obviously, he wasn’t! I still wasn’t allowed to get to him. They brought him out and said “he just didn’t like when we put the ointment in his ear. There is no reason that a 1 mg tube of ointment couldn’t have been administered in the exam room, nor should it have caused my dog to have had such a significant amount of pain as heard by him crying out. Needless to say, I will not be returning. If you do end up using VETCO for the conscience then make sure you don’t let your fur babies out of your site for anything less than X-rays or sedation.
