You know how fun it is waiting for a root canal? Now imagine being a kid and waiting for the "help desk" to do something that will take 90 seconds. "We have called Kroger multiple times and they are busy."Tylenol-3: available all over the world with no special requirements from people who count to five. I look forward to another industry being automated shortly by robots.Sounds good! I look forward to Macey's opening in a couple weeks.

So I have been shopping here since I was in high school, so I can honestly say the cashier's are super friendly, great service. The problem I ran into since around the pandemic, the price hikes have been astronomic. I am very frugal, but I try to eat healthy at the same time. There is definitely some price trickery going on here. I have had many items have a sale price on it for single unit items, only to be rang up and have it several dollars more expensive. Also they have only one lane open past 9am. Also the prices here are absolutely not competitive, because it's in a VERY wealthy neighborhood. Shop at a Smiths in Sandy or Salt Lake, it will save you a LOT of money.

Been going here for years at all hours of the day. I have appreciated them being open later than most stores because sometimes we have to make a quick late night purchase before the store closes. Tonight as I entered the store in a rush knowing I only needed a couple items of fruit- which I could purchase quickly. As I rushed through the first section of the store, an employee says to me in an annoyed tone looking at my cart, “I hope you’re not coming here to shop.” I told her, “Yes, I just need a few quick things.” She says, “Well, we close in 5 minutes and we WILL shut things down.”I keep going, grab my fruit, put it in my basket, go to self check out, scan my items, receive help from a nice woman overseeing self check out, and complete my purchase with a minute to spare before the store closed. All while the employee who greeted me so unprofessionally and unfriendly watches me and others check out. I was very bothered by this interaction and quality of customer service at Smiths. I let her know I didn’t appreciate the way she talked to me. I pointed out I was finished and out of the store before it closed. I wasn’t nice back either. I do regret that, but it really took me back the way she approached and spoke to me when entering. I understand people don’t want to work “late”, but they could be professional and kind in the way they approach customers who enter the store near closing time - or anytime. :) It’s too bad. I generally like to say hello, converse, get to know and thank employees, but could not in this case. Sadly, the interaction made me feel like not going to this store.

I shop at this Smiths weekly. The employees are very friendly and I know of a few by name. However, this store is very poorly managed. Stuff is miss marked, not in stock, expired produce etc. I was in there today (Saturday) at 10 am and nothing has been stocked yet, eggs gone, no fresh meat put out yet, and they were just now sticking the produce shelves. Something needs to change or they’re going to go under.

Karen from customer service is the sweetest ever! She was so helpful, and quick to our aid when I embarassingly spilled one of my items.

Don’t bother calling the Pharmacy. Any time I’ve tried it just rings forever, and I’ve stubbornly waited, I assure you. Don’t worry, it’s only your health that might be affected.

I was an employee of the Smith's in Las Vegas, and they actually applied for a cc on my behalf without my consent. It was through USBank for the Smith's Rewards Wold Elite Mastercard.Due to fraud with my ss number, I would have to unfreeze my number...just got a denial, not enough information, from USBank.I never applied for their card, did not consent to have them apply for me.Left messages at Kroger Corp and spoke with US Bank verification, who said they would remove the inquiry...but how can Smiths, work with bank inside the store...USBank, get away with forcing their card on employees without your consent. Getting an attorney.

This is where you go to grab that one thing you forgot at another grocery store because it’s the closest place. Maybe they have it. Maybe not (selection is very hit or miss). But guaranteed no one is enjoying shopping here. The whole plaza needs to be redone. This store needs a reboot. This is an appeal to the grocery store gods of cottonwood heights. So much potential for this location!Only redeeming factor are some of the staff who are really sweet and helpful.

Check your receipt!!! Downloaded the Smiths app and created an account, then clipped coupons. When checking out, Paola the checker said I didn’t use the correct ALT ID when adding my account number resulting in not getting any coupon credit. My total bill was $65, had the coupons been applied, the total would’ve been around $45 as most of my items were on sale. Paola offered no solutions so I just walked away without a purchase and left the items behind.I’ll find another grocery store nearby during my visit to SLC.

I've loved this Smiths for 20 years. I love that it is a smaller location. It's gone downhill last 5 years. Pharmacy staff, bakery, Deli 5 stars! Lindsey at customer service 5 stars! Female cashier there during day, with long black curly hair 5 stars!Produce section, is awful regularly notice moldy produce. Won't buy strawberries or blackberries here, they go bad in 2 days. Other Smiths strawberries/blackberries don't go bad in 2 days, seems like some produce is old. Gerald manager near front area, is always complaining to other employees. Most cashiers don't say hello or have a good day. I don't expect a conversation, a simple greeting or farewell would be nice. Generally they are talking to each other. Meat dept has discount deal meat that is regularly past when it should be sold, be careful! The prices, on some items are a lot higher than other Smiths in area. I rarely go here anymore. I use to love this Smiths.

I don’t know what’s going on here but the service gets worse and worse. I order through pick up because I work nights and going into the store during the week is like a hellacious nightmare for me. I also do back up items and refer to the in stock items on the website to create my kart. Without fail every week my order isn’t fully fulfilled and the back up items I pick are not utilized. Well I was too tired to do the whole song and dance of calling in to wait on hold to talk to someone on the pick up team to get replacement items I figured I’d just be a big kid and go into the store. Turns out I can’t! They authorization on my card for items they didn’t have has left me with 4$. And I can’t buy dog food now. Why would it not settled the correct amount at pick up????
