I've been a member since 2019, and I've visited other branches. All of them have been helpful and professional. But, it's branch #72, located at 520 E 12300 S, in Draper, UT that gets my vote for all my banking needs! From basic banking to getting a loan or credit card is met with an excellence of customer care and service thatI is rare these days. Junior Dios,the loan specialist who helped me get my 1st credit card after years of rebuilding credit after my divorce. He was understanding, down to earth, and I'll never forget how I felt when I left that day!And, a warm thank you to Stacy, a Customer service associate who connected me to Elizabeth, a Supervisor, loan specialist/lead teller. She helped me with the information I needed to give this review, she's another example of the excellence in people who work there!

Alex (Branch Manager) and Tristan (Assistant Manager) are freaking awesome! They were so understanding with my situation with an auto loan and were beyond helpful and patient with me. I am extremely grateful for them. Highly recommend this branch.

I know everyone is lacking in employees but man every time I stop here it’s always an insane wait just to talk to a banker. The teller was extremely nice and polite but her coworker seemed to be a classic chauvinistic Draper man over stepping when she was already communicating with me. Unfortunate but might be time to switch credit unions.

Chelsea the assistant manager was rude to me and my father and wouldn't help us clear a check after we just had made an account with them. Very unprofessional wouldn't recommend this branch. I may even close mine and my father account over our experience.

To put everything in detail would waste more time. I spent 57 minutes with CS over the phone and they couldn't resolve the issue. Very nice gentleman but did nothing to fix the issues. Went in to the Draper Branch on 12300 South yesterday in Draper to open 2 minor accounts and have them linked to my account so they would have a debit card. Let the Digital Specialist train Lindsey on how to do this and something that should have been 15 minutes each they said took over 2 hours, I patiently waited and then took the new card and my kid to a store to show them how to use the card and it didn't work. I went directly back to the bank at 6:04 and it was closed so my son knocked on the window. Tana (the branch manager) talked through the door rudely and told me to come back another day, she can't open the door or to call Customer Service. After the amount of time I spent in there they couldn't fix their problem with the cards??? I called CS this morning and just got off the phone they called Tana and she was too busy to get on the phone even though he (the CS rep) got permission to do a 3 way call to get the cards fixed. Lindsey wasn't working today or the Digital Specialist guy that trained her so now I am 3 hours into this and nothing fixed. What a sad joke. Something so simple and America First could not solve the problem. They had printed the card after a pin had been entered (I am told) and that is why the cards don't work and they "linked" the account with an account I don't use rather than mine and my husbands account like they were given and told. Not sure how they even managed that. Worst service ever! Tana should never be a manger. When I first came in to AFCU in Draper I waited anyway and she was talking with an employee and had customers waiting. I can't believe the amount of time this has taken and they can't fix it!!!

I'm not trying to be harsh on the newbie but I asked for my credit cards to be exchanged for new ones. They pulled from the wrong credit card and charged me a fee then instead of charging the correct one they put it on the one it already was on. Not only did it make my budget life even more difficult, I now have to pay fees to all the service providers I have linked to my credit card that the number were changed.
