We saw Sweeney Todd and it was amazing.
The seats... not so much. They're old theater seats so there's not really any back support also it was really cold in there.

Just saw Newsies at DHT and they did not disappoint! I love going to a local production and seeing such wildly talented folks! Seriously. Some of those leads and their range caught me off guard. Typically smaller productions and venues put on decent shows. However, this crew for Newsies was top shelf and on point! Vocal ranges were well greased and the passion was felt from the cast.Sure there were some mic reception hiccups and the restroom fiasco at intermission is worth a mention. Yet, that's par for the course at smaller historic venues. I don't feel it takes away, but rather adds to the authenticity of its heritage. If you know what to expect you won't be flustered or upset when you experience a bit of history at today's pace. The seating and auditorium itself is intimate as you can't help but feel part of the history of that building seeing old brick and tightly packed seating. With snacks in hand on rather comfy seats (schedule seating ASAP after buying tickets or you might get stuck on cushioned folding chairs), I couldn't have asked for a better weekend afternoon. Can't wait for another production!

Great experience watching the musical, Newsies! With a small stage there is excellent interaction with the cast. Great pricing, and wonderful, friendly staff

A small theater that can hold the key to your entertainment. The actors were well rehearsed so that it seemed they weren't volunteers. You can have a great time there no matter what piece they will be performing.

What a great contribution to the city of Draper! A family friendly theater for the community. Volunteer run so doing shows won't cost you a lot. My daughter had a wonderful time doing a show there and we will definitely do more.We recently saw Thouroughly Modern Millie, and the talent was outstanding! From direction to singing to staging.Make sure you come support this little local theater! Can't wait for The Adams Family performance!

The theater is a cute small place, easy to navigate, cheap snacks. I especially liked the little map explaining parking options. We went to see Sister Act and it was amazing! Actors did such a great job, sound work was amazing. The only issue were people sitting behind us obnoxiously screaming and making comments. It was very distracting and disappointing especially when we discovered one of women acting so disrespectfully was one of the employees from the theater. Definitely made me question coming back again. Bummer.Congrats to the actors ! The show was fantastic! :)

I love taking my senior citizens from the retirement community that I work at to the play house. It is small and easy to navigate and we always see a beautiful play and have fun snacks. The singers and actors are truly talented , Amazing people and super fun to watch. Thank you!

Funny and reasonably priced, but the theater is old, and you should not go here with expectations of an elaborate production or "fancy" night out.

Off Broadway show was fun. Only issue was that it's not clear where to park.
