I didn't know why they had ear plugs in the room, but after spending one night, I understand. The rooms have very little buffer ability and every little noise the neighbors made was apparent. avoid if you want a good night's sleep

Cleanest Hampton Inn I've been in. Breakfast selection isn't as good as some of the others I've been to.... but waaayyyy better than continental. I stayed 2 nights and experienced 2 different selections of breakfast. I almost wished they ordered all of the same breakfast because I did like the first day's breakfast selection better. Parking was great, safe area, next to Mavericks was a plus. They have indoor pool which was a nice surprise. I wish I brought my swim suit.

Extremely disappointed. We had made reservations for a king bed with a bathtub. When we arrived, we were told not only did they not have a room with a bathtub, but they also no longer had a king bed. We were given a double queen with a walk in shower. Mind you, this request was only made because we have a baby, whom we have to bathe. When we asked for a refund because we had paid extra, we were told we had to go through the third party we booked it on. Customer beware, this chain of hotels will not honor third party bookings and they also do not refund you if you paid extra. Thank you Hampton inn not only will I never stay here again (we travel here often) but I will never recommend this chain of hotels to anyone I know.

I'm typically a 5-star reviewer, but I have to speak on this experience. When I arrived, I was barely greeted by the most unprofessional front desk person. He didn't say hello or explain anything about what he was doing. He then provided me with keys to a room that already had people in it. That is an extremely awkward moment, and let's not talk about the major safety concerns this creates. I went back down to the desk, and he tried blaming room service. The gentleman that I walked into his room then comes down to the desk. This was the SECOND time that day that the front desk had given keys to this person's room. Twice, He had strangers walk into his room. Mustafa was the most unprofessional person I've ever seen. He tried to put the blame on the customer and didn't apologize one time. I've been to this property twice, and this was the last time. Management needs to step in and correct these major safety flaws.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was friendly from the desk guy to the lady working the breakfast bar, I was impressed they even had real eggs you don't find that much often at hotels. The pool and hot tub were good and the room really clean, I like how they had a black out shade to pull down so no outside light comes in. Great place to stay and great value in salt lake.

I’m here for business and had a bad experience with front desk yesterday. I was trying to use my company card for the incidentals hold but the front desk refused to accept my card because the name on the card was “Install Operating.” And not my name. I understand this is policy so no problem; but it was the front desk agent saying “If this was your card it would have your name on it.” Insinuating that the card is not mine. I asked from the beginning if she could just check in with the manager to make a one time exception but she decided to go back and forth with me for 6 minutes. She was not friendly and kept trying to talk over me to the point where I had to say “I’m trying to explain.” She finally went to go ask and I was able to check in. I didn’t expect to be accommodated since that is their policy; it’s the way the situation was handled. She wasn’t friendly. And reading the other reviews referring to a rude front desk agent, I’m pretty sure it’s the same lady. I will say the front desk ladies and the breakfast attendants this morning were very friendly. Thank you to management for letting me check in though!

Perfect place to stay that’s just a little ways out from downtown SLC! Quick highway access to downtown or on your way to Moab. This is a pretty new location. Breakfast was your traditional continental breakfast. Rooms were clean! Ignore the bad reviews of this place. I had a hard time finding what seemed like a decent hotel to stay in for SLC. Seems lot of Karen’s are leaving reviews on SLC hotels and they gave me a chuckle. Also there are in-fact 75 pound weights in the gym (see reviews below). ;)

Awful experience with the front desk. Receptionist refused to accommodate a cancellation when they booked a king room then changed it to a queen without notice. I asked to talk to a manager and the employee audibly laughed saying "no one wants to get a call if they're not at work" and refused to help.

Great place for the $. Nice clean rooms, usb ports, frig, microwave. Great breakfast buffet.

Very nice and reasonably priced
