This Hertz location is perfectly great. I’ve rented here multiple times and without incident. I like the staff.
If you understand the fundamentals everything will go great. E.g.—return the car during business hours, be on time, bring a credit card, document your vehicle condition before and after, communicate and be nice to the staff, etc.

Horrible customer service. The office is filthy. I had issues picking up a car all 3 times I tried because they weren’t available even though i had a reservation. I emailed the manager and still no response and it’s been weeks. If I could give zero stars I would.

If you need to return your car on the weekend, STAY AWAY from these guys!!! You can't return the car on the weekend without penalties because they are not open and they have no key-drop or any after hours return process. This means they WILL CHARGE YOU for extra days. You have been warned.
UPDATE: I went to the link in the response below and it's just the Hertz generic support page. I started a chat on that page and described the situation. I was told the same thing. No returns on the weekend without penalties. So this review STILL STANDS. If your return lands on the weekend, YOU WILL BE CHARGED EXTRA days. You have been warned.

Worst rent a car place ever.I rented a car 4 days.The price was supposed to be two hundred and seventy seven dollars for the days.Then, we kept it 1 extra day took it back and on our credit card.We got charged over a thousand dollars.Been trying to contact customer service.Emailed customer service and no one will get back to us.This company is the biggest thieving company ever.

Got online and booked a minivan at this location. Was about to order an Uber to go get the van when only a few minutes after booking a lady called me and said that they don’t have a mini van and she can’t fulfill my order. We sat in silence for about 10 seconds and then I asked her what I should do and she said I don’t know you can check with the airport. I asked her if she can check with the airport and she said that she can’t and she doesn’t even have a direct line for them. I asked her what I need to do with the booking And she said to call customer service to cancel. I asked her if she could cancel and she said no that she doesn’t have the ability to do that. She didn’t offer a single solution or apology. Was very straightforward in the fact she couldn’t help me.

I just returned a rental after 34 days. They gave me the truck at what they said was 95% full I stopped and filled the truck to what I thought was the same level and on a $4656.98 bill they still added $20.44 for gas. Apparently I was 2 gallons under. Throughout the rental I was not able to call anyone on the phone. I was not able to payoff part of the rental unless I returned the vehicle that was my daily Driver. Never again will I use Hertz. Absolutely no costumer service. They just don’t care, period.

The lady who helped us was very pleasant and very nice to work with. The location was easy to get to but we could not find a gas station to refill the car and because of an accident on the freeway the roads were all blocked with cars getting off at 11400 so entrance. On a normal day this would be a convenient place to rent a car.

Don't trust the Hertz system to honor pick-up times if booked by insurance. Their system doesnt talk to each other. The poor person behind the counter constantly has to deal with people with confirmation numbers and appointments but they can't do anything because they don't have anything because the system didn't let them know. Hertz Corporate, please fix your system.

I rented a vehicle and paid for the SUPER COVER insurance. According to the quote, I was supposed to pay €263, insurance included. However, when the final invoice arrived, Hertz charged me €796, adding fees for fuel, cleaning, and several services I NEVER requested.
I refueled the car at a gas station less than 2 kilometers from the airport and returned it with a full tank—something I didn’t even receive when I picked it up. I also had the car professionally cleaned before returning it to avoid any extra charges. None of that mattered.
To make things worse, two days ago I received another unauthorized charge of nearly $200. This is simply a SCAM.

I use Hertz quite often and I have also worked in the rental industry for alot of years. these guys do a great job and are always willing to help when they can.

I just had the worst experience. My husband made the reservation for me and it was an EV. The car worked fine and I successfully charged it over the two days I had it since I drove a significant amount. The day of the return, I needed to charge it 2% to be back to where they asked it to be so I left early to charge for 15 minutes and a 5 minute drive down to the location afterward. I still left time for me to arrive early because my drop off was 12 and they closed at 12 as well. Unfortunately, I got stuck in the charge port. I called hertz to tell them at 11:50, but they already were not answering. At the end of the day, I had to call the help number to get disconnected, in the mean time my sister was at hertz to pick me up at 12 and no one was even at the office to take the rental back. The general hertz number could not help me at all. I called every possible number and no one could help me return the vehicle. I had a to go back home (out of state) and was told that I couldn’t do anything until Monday when hertz reopened?! I was leaving that evening. What was I supposed to do? There were no other authorized drivers. I couldn’t change or even extend my reservation online or on the phone. They made it next to impossible to return it. I ended up driving to the SLC airport location and told them they have to take it back even though they have a policy that says they can’t return EVs to other locations. It’s hertz. You need to take it! Should I just leave it on the street? After hours of stress and no help, I got them to take it, had to pay another $100. And still don’t have my $200 deposit back.
If you’re going to be closed and gone at the same time as the last drop off, maybe consider having the last drop off be 30 minutes before you leave.
