These guys were awesome this year. Had both a deer and a cow elk processed here. Deer i brought in whole, and primarily did country sausage and jerky with the entire deer outside of some loin steaks. Got a good amount back and only took a couple weeks. My cow took about a week and a half, brought in quartered along with backstraps and loins. Got 3 big bags of meat back. Absolutely no complaints from either processing. Will continue to go here next year as well.

Bring your game "as whole as you can" to avoid losing meat if you butcher the animal yourself (this processing facility is obligated to butcher the meat themselves, presumably due to health codes).

I had a great experience using Meiers. I recently dropped off a Pronghorn and Elk. I was impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the packaged game I received. They completed the job within the time frame they said it would be done. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I felt the amount of meat I received was accurate to what was delivered, which was my biggest concern from using other meat processors previously. Loved the Jerky! I’m thankful for this facility and will be using them again in the future.

We have brought in a dozen elk, a bison and an oryx and Meiers always does a great job. I love that they vacuum seal the meat.

I Have tried other popular game processors around the Salt Lake Valley, and these guys killed it on jerking deer and they’re way faster. Meiers gave me a partial refund on my deposit. I feel like they are honest and I got what I paid for. It tastes so good!

I read the reviews but this was the closest place and I needed to get my elk Head Frozen asap before it started losing hair for taxidermy. My elk weighed in at 430 lb and after it was processed I walked away with 230 lb so I was above 50% which is awesome! I have zero complaints about these guys they did it fast and were honest with everything. The one thing that sucks is the taxidermy is currently 1.5 year wait. But it's okay because the house I live in I have nowhere to put this elk Head so I have a year and a half of free storage LOL.

One star is too good for this place please look into this place and you will see they are shorting you big time so they can use what they say is uneatable to sell for dog food. I took a quartered elk that weighted in at 350 lbs and got about 100 lbs of meat.

They did an excellent job on my Elk I got but I didn't realize I was gonna get Sticks instead of actual Jerky wish I would have known this before but to late now but they do excellent work. Can you just get Jerky instead of the sticks.
