Great place, great guy. I would go to Jake for any car probs. We were hauling our camper through Duchesne and started having major engine trouble in our truck. He was willing to see us right away, diagnosed the issue and had it fixed in under 2 hours for an amazing price.

Clutch wasn’t engaging on my snow mobile so I took it into Jake. After he took the clutch off and priced it out he said it was $1300 for the clutch. The snow mobile wasn’t worth that much so I told him not to order it. When I came to pick it up and settle up with him he said I owed him $400 dollars. I asked for a work order since I didn’t think there was $400 worth of work in removing the clutch and also he ordered a new fuel cap. When I asked for the breakdown he raised his voice and said if I’m going to be like that he is going to charge me a storage fee. Lol I gave him the $400 cash because he also refused to run my card and said he would rather do cash to hide it from the IRS. So I gave him the cash and said he lost a customer. I understand why most people in town warned me about him. He is definitely not a trustworthy businessman.

We blew a manifold gasket this morning and google sent us to Ivie auto, Jake and his son were FANTASTIC!! We got stranded on a Saturday evening and Jake from Ivie Auto and Marine came after hours to us to check out our car. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and give us a rough estimate. They were friendly and great to work with and they did a great job repairing our vehicle. Thanks again Jake!
