It's a great, quiet campground with lots of open space. It's maintained pretty well, though obviously it is a campground, so the roads are dirt much of the time, and some of the fire pits aren't present. I recommend it though. Bear in mind that there is no reservation. I came on a weekday so it wasn't busy though.

One of my favorite places... however, the gates close at 10pm. I can't take our youth up there during the summer to learn about the stars because it's not dark until 10.. or later. I wish you would put the curfew at midnight. What's the point of a dark sky park that you can't enjoy?

North fork is a great park, I love to come here and ride my fat bike during the year. Not just since snow but also during the summer time opens up a whole different set of scenery and technical skills. And if you're lucky you might see a moose or two while you're out there riding or running.

Awesome place to camp! But I can't believe the camp hosts can be so rude. We camp all around AZ, NV, and CA. We have been here twice and it's pretty tough to deal with old grouchy people both times.....but I guess customer service won't stop people from enjoying this nice shaded area.

Great spot with beautiful scenery, still close to civilization.

Been coming up here since I was just a baby with my family going camping. We just recently had a family reunion up here and it’s a beautiful place to go. We found a trail and walked down to the stream and that ended up being the highlight of the trip. Everyone went down there and played and cooled off and got wet and had water fights!!!

Wow! We just arrived today and so far our trip has already been AMAZING! The hosts are beyond amazing! The campgrounds are the perfect size for smaller groups, great cell phone service, you have the right amount of privacy, bathrooms with FLUSHING toilets, table, fire pit, and the best part for forgetful people like myself... you aren't too far from a gas station or grocery that will have pretty much everything you may have forgotten. This is definitely our new spot forever

My grandparents have been going here since the 80's and since I can remember I have always come here to the same spot always. I love it here, though you are in a campground, you truly feel like you are in the wilderness away from people with how spread out it is ( minus noisey people, haha ). If you want to go to a spot that you feel secure in, but also camping far away from people, this place is the best. Better than all the campgrounds in the canyon! And the stars look incredible as there is no light pollution!! Thank you for continuing to stay open through the decades!
