Randy, my lord and savior. We barely made it with the gas meter completely empty. You saved us on our road trip and we are forever in debt. 5 stars, have a wonderful day!

Randy is the GOAT. We were pushing on little to no gas and Randy's Service with their 24 hour gas pump is amazing and saved us. It was like 7 pm and already dark and we finally got some gas. Thank you Randy. Randy will be my best man at my wedding.

Just reading the reviews, it's clear the couple running this shop are absolutely angels and have blessed so many ? My one and only stop at Randy's occurred roughly 10 years ago. As I reminisce upon that short experience today, I still feel very inclined to share my story......I was alone and running on empty (me and the jeep) on that long dark interstate that night, and it was a blessing to see a fuel station sign. I exited the interstate running on nothing but faith and fumes. Just as I did, a disastrous thud under the hood meant only one thing... I was sure to need more than gas in this BFE town. It got a bit spooky as my lights and my gauges became as dark as the night with the sound of the thud, but the motor hadn't died... yet. So, I carried on, hoping and praying to find a safe haven for the night. As the motor shuddered to a halt, I coasted into a parking lot aside from Randy's.To this day, it is still the most iconic and memorable single-pump fuel service station I've ever seen. Even alone in the dark and as hopeless as I felt, I felt the comfort as soon as I pulled in. It felt like I'd traveled backward in time to a simpler version of life. I was welcomed by an incredible aura that wrapped around me like a warm embrace. The soothing nature of Randy's is impossible to describe, but I'm sure I would've panicked without it that night. As I popped the hood to assess the damage, the vibrations dropped a rubber belt to my feet. I think to myself, well, that's not great, but it could be worse. Easy part to find, and an easy fix. Well, maybe in any other town. But, the belt isn't broken, and I'm sure it wasn't loose. So what then happened? Well, with the rubber, fell a hefty chunk of metal, soon found to be from a pulley that had catastrophically failed. It's not as easy of a fix as a belt, to say the least. That meant more parts, more tools, and more time. Overwhelmed and frustrated, I accepted defeat for the night as I covered myself with a jacket and fell asleep to the buzz of the streetlight.I awoke at the break of dawn to see that the town around me wasn't much of a town at all. I contemplated my options for a while, but I knew Randy's was my only hope. My train of thought was finally broken by the sound of keys jingling as they hit the door, the only sign of life I'd noticed since I left the highway.I wish I could remember her name, but I'll never forget how she made me feel. I don't know how much she knew by the stranded vehicle or the tired look in my face, but she took me in like a mother would and consoled me until I smiled. She assured me her husband would be in soon, and he could help with the car. What she didn't know is just how much she helped me by simply offering her hospitality. As we waited together, I began to remove what was left of the pulley in anticipation of replacement.Soon, Randy arrived, and he patiently listened as I explained my assessment of the damage. He didn't say much as he gently reached out his hand. I handed him the shattered pulley, and he turned it over in his hands with a look of wisdom in his eyes. He gave a small nod as he turned and entered a side door with a smile.Along the wall of the dark garage sat an old red tool chest, looking forgotten and coated in a thick layer of dust. Randy approached the toolbox, and in a single attempt, he found what he was looking for, like it had just been placed there yesterday. Not a number of someone to call or even tools to rent out like expected, but this angel of a man pulled from the dust, the exact size pulley I needed for replacement. He turned back to me with the replacement pulley and the tools I was missing for the job and offered his assistance should I need it.Gratitude and a sense of relief washed over me as I fit the new pulley into place without incident. The couple refused any payment, as they hugged me goodbye like their own child.Randy's may appear to be an ordinary service station, but It darn well may be the closest

Great place with great service! I showed up a few minutes after closing as the owner was leaving and he turned around to let me know the pump was only taking credit at the time. He even gave me directions to get back on the highway as quickly as possible!

I'm giving you 5-stars for saving our lives. Out-of-towners here -- Back in November 2023 we had to rent a car to get back home to Washington from Denver when our train got canceled. Almost ran out of gas when I found you on Google maps. We only had 2 miles of gas left by the time we got there! You were our frikken life-line that day. So, we'll always think fondly of your gas station and the little town of Emery for simply existing! Our hearts were pounding all the way there. It's not like we knew where the hell we were. Thank you!

We were busy taking in all the sights on I-70 on our way to a hotel for the night and missed the last gas station sign. With the gas light already on for miles, we trusted the previous reviewers and took exit 99, winding over 10 miles to the red light in the sky to arrive 2 minutes before closing. Thank you, Randy, for the opportunity to fill our gas tank when it was most needed.

The gas pump is open 24 hours but the store does close at 6... it saved us from running out of fuel on the highway

Pump open 24/7! No idea who Randy is but I love him. Almost ran out of gas on a snowy foggy night. Once you exit the highway you take a tiny super creepy road. We saw a cow standing off to the side. I think he was laughing at us. We thought we were going to die. And then we saw the glorious pump. Hallelujah. Saving the receipt for a souvenir.

Saved us from not having a gas station for another 70 miles. The lady at the store has probably seen all kinds of travelers who were almost stranded. lol…

I'd give Randy's 10 stars if it would let me. This man is a hero of the highway. . When the gas gauge is looking low and there are no stations in sight. Travel to the middle of nowhere. That's where you will get your tank filled. You will know you're in the right place because the lights shine down from heaven like a beacon of hope to illuminate the heros palace. I will forever be grateful for Randy's and any time I'm in the area, whether I need fuel or not. I'll be stopping in to get some of his delicious snacks and refreshments. oh, and don't forget to get your Randy's shirt. A shirt so special I'd wear it over my tuxedo on my wedding day.

I got the honor of meeting Randy himself when we brilliantly ran out of gas. He came to the rescue after working hours. Randy could have been mean or grumpy as he had to leave his dinner on the table to come help us, but he had a smile and was super friendly and helpful. Super low gas prices too! Randy is a gentleman and I hope you all go see him as he is the best!

Well, I got the t-shirt! Ran out of gas 2.6 miles from Randy's! Took a chance and called, and they do rescues. The cashier was super friendly and adorably nice when I pulled in for a fill-up and to literally buy my t-shirt. Randy himself came to my rescue in less than 10 minutes. Gave me a geology lesson on a local rock formation and a friendly jab on the result of climbing elevation and fuel mileage. Prices were comparable to those on the interstate, and the service was great!
