Probably one of the best places to stay in Escalante and the host is even better. The rooms are really clean and very beautifully furnished. Highly recommend.

My husband and I loved our 2 night stay at The Loubird Inn a couple of weeks ago. It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend. We would certainly stay again if we return to Escalante.

We had a lovely stay at The Loubird Inn. Hailey was so kind and helpful, the rooms were clean and well-appointed, and the location and grounds were a delight. Highly recommend.

Charming small inn has rooms to relax in. Beautifully decorated, comfy beds, wide covered porches for lounging after a day of hiking, lovely gardens, and a gracious host family. Will return the next time I’m in town.

Please be aware that the breakfast shown in the photos above is not what you will be offered! New owner only offers cereals and fruit from her garden in our case very hard pears and not even fresh coffee. However you can visit their cafe where you will receive a ten percent discount which we thought was insulting when we had already paid for a proper breakfast which was offered, when we booked, by previous owner. For the high price we paid we felt cheated. We did however have excellent coffee at The Coffee Corner and wonderful service and pizza at Escalante Outfitters.

The room was very nice, nothing to complain. I cancelled the last night three weeks before the stay by e- mail and never received a feedback or refund. There was nobody there when we arrived so I am unsatisfied.

We've never had a better stay in Southern Utah. Haley and Garrin are incredible hosts. We enjoyed the back porch every day, from coffee in the morning to happy hour to a relaxing nightcap. Very comfortable and very quiet.

Room was clean and lovely . I have to agree that this is more of an air bnb and not a traditional bed and breakfast as we did not see the owners at all until they needed some information on our charge card. We were notified of the change in breakfast options months ago, and so , could have canceled, but chose not to . There were no surprises, but it was still disappointing to miss out on the personal touches one gets with a b and b. It is a nice airbnb type accommodation.

What an amazing place to stay.. I stayed at The Loubird Inn seven day and the atmosphere was great. A relaxing place to stay after a day of hiking.

Daughter and I stayed for 1 night driving from Denver to Southern California. Cottonwood room was great with everything we needed and very clean. Love the local artwork on the walls. Bed was very comfy. Felt like you were spending the night in a friend's guestroom. Would definitely recommend.

We spent two nights at the Loubird Inn and loved the experience and hospitality Hayley and her family are wonderful hosts and the central location is perfect. We had a great breakfast at Magnolia's Kitchen, also owned by Hayley, only a couple of blocks down the street. I am vegan and they were super accommodating. This close- knit town is wonderful and many businesses, such as Hayley's, really go out of their way to support each other and their visitors. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed at the Loubird Inn and were thrilled to stay at a bed & breakfast with such good reviews and delicious breakfast photos.Unfortunately, the owners recently decided to stop offering hot breakfast, and despite the high price per night there is no housekeeping and the breakfast is sparse (bread, a nearly empty peanut butter jar, some jam, butter, Cherrios and two other dry cereals). It was the smallest breakfast offering we've ever seen in a hotel. The rooms were clean, but no housekeeping is offered (despite a housekeeping tips envelope in the room). Overall, it gave us a very Airbnb feel where the value for the price did not match. We would not recommend this hotel to guests in the area.

Something magically special about The Loubird - from Haylee's warm smile, to the pink bicycles parked along the fence, to the hammock under the twinkling lit tree in the garden, to the super comfortable king-sized bed, to the super water pressure, to the thoughtful in-room snacks, to the bright colored artwork and trim - The Loubird exceeded our expectations in every way. So close to walk to eateries, catch amazing sunrises and sunsets and kickback from days out on the plateaus, in the canyons or down a dusty road. Breakfast provided - short and sweet, yet make it a point to visit Magnolia's two blocks down - and see Haylee in breakfast action!! Wear shoes - because your socks will be blown off - so tasty. The Sunrise room brought smiles to our faces - as the morning light greeted us - being an end room, we got an extra deck and more privacy. Just the best experience in every way! We will be back!
