The inn is on the main road through town easily accessible. The clerk was very kind and helpful. The rooms are all identical, ours was very clean and tidy. It has a mini fridge and microwave and 2 beds. It was very quiet and an enjoyable stay.

Not a luxury resort by any means but a very nice place. I travel all over the US for work and basically live in hotels and this is one of the cleanest places ive ever seen. Rooms are kind of outdated, carpet was discolored in places and the tv is kind of small but everything works, nothing is damaged and clean a hospital operating room. Very reasonable rate for the area

Very friendly staff. Easily reachable and accommodating. The room had all the basic amenities.
The bed was super comfortable to sleep in, which is much needed after a long hike. Would definitely stay again!|

We stayed 3 nights over the weekend and it went well. The room has a rustic look but has clearly been recently redone and has some nice features. The rest of the place was…. interesting. Lobby was randomly closed, other visitors with at least 20 dogs trapped behind 2 cars and it was just kind of awkward. Overall, it was still a nice place to stay for the price.

There was a previous review from my account that was not only harsh and unnecessarily demeaning, but unequivocally false. I did not write write this review. My experience at the Prospector was and always had been excellent. Very friendly staff, they were awesome with my dog, And the rooms are surprisingly big. I love this town, and I love the businesses here. This hotel is 100% worth the money. Thank you again to the staff for an excellent stay.

We stayed here after our backpacking trip in the Escalanate area. I reserved the room using their website and like that you can choose the location of your room (East/West, 1st/2nd floor).
The rooms are dated but very clean, well maintained and quiet. Restaurants are a short walk away. There is a microwave and refridgerator in the room.
I appreciated that rags are provided so you can clean your gear.
The staff is friendly, the cozy lobby has coffee and an ice machine.
I would definitely stay here again when recreating in the Escalante area.

Good location. The rooms seemed clean. My issue was that the shower didn't drain so I had to stand in a tub of my dirty water and coffee didn't start until 730 am which was when I had to leave so I didn't get a coffee until the gas station down the street. It was pricey for the lack of quality.

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean. The price was very reasonable. Great location, close to LOTS of awesome places to explore. I can definitely see staying here again.
