If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to get a pedicure from someone who's blindfolded, wearing oven mitts, and possibly mad at feet in general—Star Nails is the place for you.
I had the deluxe gel pedicure, which I assume is code for “let’s slap some mystery goo on her toes and hope for the best.” The gel polish? Impeccably awful. Globbed on like frosting by an untrained toddler—missing parts of the nail, but generously applied to the surrounding skin. Artistic, really.
The soak? A quick dip—less than a minute—just long enough to make you question whether it was intentional or just a plumbing issue. Then came the exfoliation: two or three gentle swirls of the exfoliating pad, barely making contact with my feet. It’s clear they’re dedicated to preserving every last bit of dead skin. You don’t want to lose that hard-earned callus, do you?
The best part? The oversized signs stating cash preferred, strategically placed across the room—perfect for guests to ponder as they receive their performance-art-style pedicure. And when it’s time to pay, don’t blink: their sleight of hand with your change is so impressive, I’m sure Vegas would be interested.
In summary: if you’re into overpriced foot tickles, abstract nail art, and magic tricks with money, Star Nails is your dream come true. For everyone else—run.

Awful experience! My husband and I took our granddaughter to get a pedicure and manicure for her birthday and obviously expected them to all be at the same time, right?! Well, they weren’t. I had made the appt. In advance to make sure that we’d all get in and be able to sit by eachother and get them done together. They sat us down and we waited for about 20 minutes before anyone even started on us. They did my husbands, our granddaughter and myself were just sitting there. While we were sitting there, they took at least 3 walk-ins. Still sitting there, another 10 minutes and someone finally came and started on our granddaughter. Then my husband got done and I was still sitting there and they hadn’t even started on me yet. The lady that finished with my husband’s, went into the back and we never saw her again. Meanwhile, 2 more walk-ins came in and they took them and here I was a still waiting. They finished my granddaughter and then started on me. All they saw were dollar signs when preppie kept walking in. What a HORRIBLE way to run a business. We were there for about 2 HOURS!!! Totally ruined our plans we had after. WORST EXPERIENCE WE’VE EVER HAD AND WE WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE.

This is one of the most beautiful nail salons I have ever been to. Definitely the cleanest. I had my nails done by the owner Jane. What a sweetheart! I love 💝 my nails. I’ve been getting my nails done for 35 years all over the world, and this is top notch quality, service, and pampering! I am a Permanent new customer and I will send everyone I know there!
After reading some of the other reviews, I wanted to make a point. Just because nail polish maybe didn’t go up in price… Grocery bills went up and everyone’s rent went up. When their prices go up, it’s to match the economy, not because they’re being greedy. Did you really think that a set of nails was going to be $22 for the rest of your life? Inflation affects everyone.

Some of the best nail technicians ever! I have pretty thin nails and both times I went there the ladies were so gentle. In most places that I've been to, nail techs try to finish their jobs faster but here they put effort into their work. Highly recommend!

I come to star nails often, today I went in to get a basic French tip and got horrible service, he wouldn't let me rest my arm on the table, he took almost 2 hours and did a bad job. It's a very baldy done French tip.

Space between the natural nail and acrylic.
The nails do not have a good shape (too much acrylic), the first day my nails hurt, because too much product on the sides.

Lost my business after going here for at least 12 years. I went in for a pedicure and I fell and was charged $160. The price sheet on the wall says 45 for a fill and 40 for a pedicure.
The owner, Jane said she would not accept Venmo when there are Venmo QR codes to pay on the wall on the window on the front desk and stations. She tried saying she would only take cash which we do not have cash. Today was a holiday so banks aren’t opened.. buyer beware!!

Go somewhere else! Would never recommend this place, the owner is very rude and they have poor quality work.
