This is a family run produce stand. They are part of my extended family. So I felt happy to give them business. It's pretty late in the season, so most things were picked over but I was able to get a few pumpkins and some tomatoes.

We’ve been going to this place for several years. We get supplies for the winter as well as enjoy everything while it’s in season. We get our: beans, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peaches, honey and don’t forget to try their beef. Everything is always wonderfully fresh and extremely reasonably priced. Additionally, the people could not be any nicer or more helpful. These one-star reviews sound like they are all coming from the same encounter where there was an isolated incident where someone’s 2-year-old was corrected by one of the workers. Having recently retired as a teacher, I understand we’re going through an era where every parent feels like their child can do no wrong. Furthermore, we’re also going through an era where parents don’t always perform their parental duties of teaching manners and boundaries. My educated guess is that is exactly what transpired here. Please don’t deprive yourselves of the friendly environment and wonderful food Shaffer Family Farms has to offer. I truly love this place. I was raised on a farm. So I have a special appreciation for the service and products these folks are providing to our community. Accordingly, thank you Mr. and Mrs. Shaffer, Mark, Joeie, Whitney and Whitney’s husband (I don’t recall his name). Please keep doing what you’re doing. You’re awesome honest people providing an essential service that I truly appreciate.

Absolutely the best farmers market in northern Utah! Produce right from the field, high quality and delicious. Excellent service and staff! Give the feel of country life and all that is good in America!

Terrible customer service and the peaches aren’t great. I’d go anywhere but here.

I follow there instagram page and they seemed like really nice people! I love supporting local to so I decided to make the drive from Logan. I went with my friend and our 2 year olds to get some peaches. One of the owners yelled at my 2 year old for picking up a peach and putting it by his mouth. And then yelled at us telling us we had to pay for it! Which is fine if my kid is going to do that I will pay for it. I only ended up buying a few peaches due to how rude they were! I definitely will not be making the drive here again! Moral of the story don’t bring your kids. The lady that yelled even had kids you think she would have understood! She could have handled it 10x better!

BEWARE!DO NOT take your Family to this “Family” farm!My sweet toddler nephew knocked a peach to the ground. His sweet sweet mom picked it up and put it back on the stand and immediately was met with a woman working there yelling at her “that’s DISGUSTING!” And then told her she had to buy the WHOLE BUSHEL! My nephew didn’t take a bite of it, nothing that required my SIL to buy the whole bushel or being yelled at by one of their workers.DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN! ONLY LOOK, DO NOT TOUCH! OR BE READY TO BUY THE FARM!WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Don't take your kids there. Also don't touch any of the produce to see if it's ripe enough for use or you'll be yelled at and forced to buy a whole bushel!

Great produce but don’t bring kids. They’re very rude about kids and not understanding at all. Had a bad experience where the sales person yelled at our 2 year old toddler. Our toddler picked up a peach and was going to eat it; we had every intention of paying for any peach that our child would have bitten into and did our best to keep him from the produce. The sales person immediately yelled at us about how “disgusting” they thought it was and said they were going to make us buy the whole bushel. We did end up buying the whole bushel, as a courtesy, but in hindsight I wish I had paid for only the one peach. I understand that kids shouldn’t pick up the produce, but this is a 2 year old and the produce is outside, spread out in crates in reach of children. Someone buying produce there should be planning on cleaning the peaches anyway. Furthermore, in grocery stores, everyone is picking up fruit to see how ripe or good it is, it’s incredibly naive to think your fruit isn’t getting touched by someone.

Drove from Idaho because we were told they tomatoes...called half way there...reached some snarky voice mail said they'd call back if it sounded important.... Anyhow...no tomatoes, not much actually...a small box with some moldy peaches...oh...well...won't make this place a destination again...

Omg..every year we are so excited for your produce. However it is cheaper to go to the Smiths. You are letting your community down. I realize you will use the excuse that your cost are up to. Not buying into the excuses. We all know how much the government helps the farmers
