We stayed one night. In our 10 day journey it was one most comfortable and reasonable price during our trip. Room 101 King Suite.

Rooms are old and gym is "empty". Breakfast is pretty bad to say it in a nice way. The good thing is that the Swell coffee shop is only 3 mins away where you can find very good coffee.
Rooms: Rooms are old

It’s what you’d expect. Fun little pool and hot tub. There were broken bottles in the parking lot and stray cats hanging outside.

We were looking at different hotel options in the city and the first one we came to was first choice in at the swell.
My 7 year old daughter desperately needed to use the restroom around 3:30 am, it was below freezing outside, and the lady at the front desk refused to let her, as if we were a couple of drunk homeless people. That told us everything we needed to know about their customer service and how they treat new people coming in the front door.
We decided to go next door to to the comfort inn. The staff there was much more friendly and accommodating, the hotel looked much cleaner and newer and their breakfast bar looks way bigger. The food there was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and they were even supportive of my toddler that was having a hard time sleeping sleeping so we roamed the hallways with him for a few hours until he got tired. I doubt first choice would have been so understanding.
Bottom line, don't expect a good stay at first choice hotel. Much less courteous staff. Go next door to the comfort inn.

The best part about this place? The staff! Every single person who helped us, from our initial late night call to morning breakfast, was phenomenal. They were polite, kind, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed.
The rooms are a bit dated and could use some light maintenance (broken window lock on first floor, some paint peeling in the bathroom), but for the price and service, we would absolutely stay here again. The items that matter (bedding, toilets, shower) were all clean and the room got completely dark so we all slept great.

Good budget hotel. Decent breakfast. Indoor pool is not heated but we swam in it anyway. Jacuzzi works. I would stay here again.

The air conditioning was loud during the night which interrupted our sleep, but the staff was kind and helpful. They said they’re trying to fix things as quickly as possible.

Staff is super friendly and you can tell they really take pride in their property. Prices are very reasonable. We stayed on our way to Las Vegas and on our way back home. Hotel owners need to spend a little more on up- keep and maintenance. Shower control valve in two different rooms 101-109 both need attention. Light cover in 101 is missing. Window shade in 109 needs to be replaced.
Food and drinks: Best restaurant across the street Tamarisk!!

Don't expect something extraordinary with this hotel. Good for the price though and for 1 night or couple of nights, because beds are comfy and room was big. Breakfast really poor though.

This hotel is really only suitable for transit. Useful, but nothing more. A renovation could make more of the hotel. The air conditioning is very loud in the room, so you can't sleep well at night. Bathroom facilities are okay. The breakfast is continental and typical of the country. Unfortunately, too much waste is still produced. The place has nothing big to offer. But it's quite good as a stop-over to Arches NP. Would rather look for something in Moab next time.
