“Two days ago, Mike drove through Green River, Utah headed for Denton Texas!! He stopped at the Vetere Melon stand in Green River and bought two 50# watermelons and some cantaloupe. I just cut into one of those watermelons; in my 57 years on this planet, I have now tasted the BEST watermelon EVER!! I judge watermelon by color, juice, sweetness and crunch. This is THE BEST WATERMELON I HAVE EVER HAD! The rind was thin but strong enough to contain 50# of melon! I was so enthralled by the watermelon that I hopped on the internet, called Vetere Melons and spoke with Greg Vetere. I told him I will likely never eat a better watermelon.
