My car broke on a Saturday as we were pulling into the national park for a week-long camping trip. They were the only place open on the weekend that I could find, and were completely booked that day. Luckily, after explaining we were from 12+hours away and seeing that my car was completely undrivable, the owner managed to work us in with a quick fix. Was reasonably priced and very kind throughout! Only had to wait a couple hours too, which was nice considering how busy they were the day we pulled in.

DO NOT STOP HERE IF YOU ARE A WOMAN TRAVELING ALONE THEY WILL MANIPULATE THE MAINTENANCE AND TRY TO TRAFFIC YOU!!!! WENT IN FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND 4 MEN DRAINED IT INSTEAD OF REPLACING IT. TELLING EACH-OTHER TO GO SHOWER WELL I WAITED THERE. NEVER REPLACED THE OIL BUT WAS HOPING MY ENGINE WOULD BLOW! Thank God I know about cars. Stopped at a gas station to check it and never even put oil in it. Sick small town with sick people

BEWARE!!After having brake issues on the road, I was referred to Interstate America auto shop. All my car required was a set of front brake pads. $340 is what I was charged $180 of. That was 'labor'! I could not believe the nerve of the mechanic! Not only was I rap#d on cost, but the guy put one of the pads on backward! I had to turn around and go back.

Ken at Interstate America was hugely helpful in getting me back on the road so I could continue my trip (10+ hours of driving ahead of me). Ken was very professional, took time to explain and show me what he was planning to do and what he ended up doing afterwards, the transparency was really appreciated. In the end I felt extremely fortunate to have ended up at Interstate America for my issue as Ken was able to get me fixed up same day for a reasonable price and extremely high quality workmanship. Thank you Ken!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Can't recommend this place more! Was camping in the middle of nowhere and my check engine light, master warning light and TRAC off light came on. Made it to Green River thankfully and Interstate America got on the job immediately! Diagnosed the issue which was a chewed spark plug wire and ordered the parts ASAP. Labor costs were fair and the service was very transparent. They brought me in the back and showed me what was up and what exactly they would replace which I highly appreciate.Thank you for getting me back on the road!

Car went out on freeway. Towed here. Quickly diagnosed engine failure and were very honest about my options.

Do not goto this business!Transmission went out on a cross country trip. I called Interstate America and had it towed to them. They told me they could get me in and have it fixed the next day, and that it would be 8 hours labor total. Since they said they could get it fixed promptly. I allowed them to work on my vehicle.I ended up stranded there without a vehicle for 5 days staying at a motel while they tried to figure out how to install the new transmission. They also damaged the tail gate of my truck (big dent and scratch). When I asked them about it they said "it was like that when I brought it in". I have video of me leaving my house with an undamaged tailgate, and had only stopped for gas twice before it was in their hands. Each stop I was in my tailgate to get water out of my cooler, and am 100% sure there was no damage before they had possession of it.Not only that, but it's been two days since they changed out the transmission and it's already giving me trouble. If you break down near Green River have your vehicle towed to Grand Junction, and avoid this place at all cost.

We drove in from Las Vegas, and upon arriving in Utah around 3:30pm, we had a mechanical issue. We googled auto repair shops, and we felt comfortable choosing Interstate Towing and Auto Repair. We met Ken, who did not hesitate to accommodate us right away and who immediately checked the vehicle and diagnosed the problem. Without wasting much time, he called for parts, but since it was already late, they would not be available until the following day.Ken was so nice and caring, that he took us and our belongings to our hotel and even volunteered to pick us up the following day. The repair was done early as promised and the charge was very reasonable and fair.We will forever be grateful to Ken for saving us from a possible catastrophe and for making it possible for us to enjoy and push through with our planned vacation.Kudos and more power to Ken and Interstate Towing and Auto Repair.

Ken was wonderful. Our truck broke late at night on US 6 by Woodside and Mike at Steele Towing rescued us. He suggested Interstate and he was right; Ken fixed our problem (power steering pump locked up and broke serpentine belt and tensioner) in 2 hours. Good service, good rates! THANKYOU KEN!!Service: Engine repair

I own an auto repair shop in Brea, Ca and one of my customer was passing through Green River when his check engine light came on. My customer went to only shop in town, Interstate America and talked to Ken. The car was running a little rough and after Ken did his “diagnosis” he came to the conclusion that it needed a new engine. My customer called me and I talked to Ken and after taking to him for 20secs I knew that either he was trying to rip people off or he had no clue what he was doing. Either way I was not going to let him touch the car. I told my customer to get the car out of there and drive it to the nearest AAA shop. Scott’s in Grand Junction, CO was great and fixed the car for $92. Do not go to Interstate America for even a light bulb!!!!Services: Engine repair
