The owner is the best!
This rock shop is a rock hunter's dream. The vast number of specimens carried in the shop, focus largely on petrified wood, and they are stunning.

We were tired, the kids were cranky, and this amazing rock shop changed all of that on our road trip. The owner was soooo kind, told amazing stories, shared local knowledge, was patient with our children, and helped us find some amazing goodies. The store has just so much - of everything. I particularly loved the local offerings of Hanksville agates and Utah Variscite. If you love rocks, then I highly recommend!

On my first long overdue trip to Hanksville, my first stop was Rockin Riddle Rock Shop. The owner, Cathy, was very helpful with advice about where to go rockhounding, hiking, and exploring in the area. Her shop has thousands and thousands of rock and fossil specimens, both large and small, and a variety of gift and souvenir options if you're looking to bring home something unique for your loved ones. I can't imagine that my trip would have been near as enjoyable or successful without Cathy's help. I must have chatted with her for the better part of an hour, and I was richer for the experience. I seldom have met a more genuinely kind and thoughtful person. Do yourself a favor - next time you're visiting Hanksville or are on your way through, stop by the Rockin Riddle Rock Shop, you won't be disappointed!

This place was a random stop we made and we are SO glad we did!!! The owner was amazing and told us history and all sorts of things. The collection is amazing and we had so much fun. She even made a great suggestion of things to do and eat in town. Highly recommend you stop here!

The coolest rock shop I’ve been to! They have a huge selection of various rocks many from the immediate area. The owner is super friendly and let us know where we could rock hound ourselves. Their prices were really reasonable, and they have some unique pieces. The shop goes quite a ways back and also outside. They have some really friendly dogs that will shop with you. We would definitely recommend you to stop by!

A very wide variety of stones, fossils, geodes, petrified wood, jewelry and clothing.
The lady was incredibly friendly and nice. She had all types of interesting local stories.

Such a fun stop on our way back home to Colorado! Picked up gorgeous chunks of selenite for $2 a pound!!! The owner is generous in her pricing. Cathy is also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend dropping by.
