Really cool setting carved into the side of the mountain. Nice store. Had a low ceiling that really made it feel like a cave, which is good and bad, depending on your level of claustrophobia. The main negative was that the ownership definitely wears their opinions on their sleeve. Signage in various places that was pretty passive aggressive. Made the visit just a little more uncomfortable than you expect when you're on vacation. It just felt like shopping at an awkward Thanksgiving family dinner. Not good or bad, just awkward and uncomfortable

A very unique store that was carved out of a mountain side, and interesting has good ceiling heights that don't feel claustrophobic. The staff working here are super friendly as-well.

This place saved our vacation. After airing down for some off roading our pump died on the last tire when pumping them back up. Nine at night, on Thanksgiving, this place had an air hose out and working! Thank you for providing great service

We really just stopped here, between Bryce Canyon and Moab, to stretch our legs and divest ourselves of some excess bodily fluids. We ended up getting a private* tour of the dynamite-excavated premises. Yep. It's a gas station. And a convenient store. That's been blown out of a huge rock. That is all. --- *In the sense that there were no other customers to be seen in the establishment.

This gas station is literally in the middle of NOWHERE. We were coming down route 24 south from Capitol Reef National Park on the way to Zion National Park. Hanksville & this Sinclair gas station (does anyone remember Sinclair & the big green dinosaur) This is right where Rote 24 turns west. This is such a cool gas station/convenience store that is built into the red rock mountain side. Appropriately named HOLLOW MOUNTAIN as it's built into the mountainside I mean this station is literally in the middle of nowhere. At first glance we pulled in to the lot & almost left. We ended up going in & to our surprise realized that the store was built into the stone. I ended up buying a bottle of Kornbucha. The cool part is that the whole store is built into the mountainside. I wish I took better pictures of the inside of the store built into the rock mountainside

The people that run this Sinclair are truly Community people. They are always friendly and go out of the way to help visitors and locals alike . They help with search and rescue, they have great service!

Not only do they not require masks, the signs on the door are very unwelcoming. they drew a Hitler mustache on the governor and have another sign stating that any government employee is trespassing on their property. If you want to feel safe, this is not the place for you.
