Petco in Ogden is a well-known store that offers a wide range of pet products and services. It is the preferred place for many customers seeking feline canned food, as the store has an extensive selection and a comprehensive inventory that makes it unlikely to find the same products elsewhere. Customers appreciate the helpful and friendly staff, who provide good service despite occasional wait times. The store caters to a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, fish, reptiles, and small pets, and offers services such as full-service grooming, veterinarian care, vaccination clinics, pet adoption, and positive training classes. Many shoppers have positive experiences with the store's selection of pet food, supplies, and live animals. Some customers have bought healthy fish, coral, and other reef tank supplies, noting that the store has good quality products and knowledgeable staff, especially for aquatic pets. One customer highlighted an employee with exceptional aquatic expertise who provided excellent advice and assistance. However, there are concerns about certain practices, such as handling live coral and water transfer procedures, which some feel could be improved to ensure the health of the livestock. Additionally, the removal of discounts on livestock has been a disappointment for some. While the store generally meets the needs of pet owners, some customers find that for specific items, especially for puppies, they need to order online due to limited stock. Overall, Petco is a trusted place for pet supplies, services, and expert advice, making it a convenient and reliable choice for pet care needs in Ogden.
