Not bad for a small local bar. But if your looking for a real night out, this will not be the place. Some lack of knowledge on mixed drinks. But the atmosphere was decent if your just wanting to chill and have a few drinks.

Good overall people and made our guys night out a good time. They even took us home after so we didn't have to drive! Recommend visiting this place as its a local treasure.

“Interesting†place with “interesting†characters. We came here in hopes of finding a fun run-down place to have a few drinks as we past through from Moab, and boy did we find exactly that: RUN-DOWN! This place smelled of bad cigarette breath and un-bathed locals. The bar tender had a cockeye but that wasn't really the issue. It was the overall experience. He TRIED pouring us a shot and nearly failed to do so because he was fumbling the half-washed glasses. Once we finally got our shots we decided we had seen enough and asked for our checks. He looked around the bar for what seemed like 10 minutes to find the ONE pen that in there. I ended up having to sign my receipt with a green dry erase marker that I had to pry open from how much “grease†(or whatever was caked on there).

Darling little bar, Tino is a sweetheart and had all the hot tips on exploring town. Heard some cool ghost stories, met the bar cat, and had a cold beer! Will definitely come back.

Far and away the "Best Bar" in Helper! It is the survivor of a town that well into the '70's still had 14+ Bars. Sometimes credited as being the "Ellis Island" of Utah, Helper is experiencing a "renewal" that celebrates it's mining and railroad history through innovative impressionist "still life", portrait and landscape art led by David Dornan, Ann Morgan Jesperson, Steve Adams and others. Walk in boldly, celebrate all you see, take time to share some special history stories with Tito, the owner and some of the other "old & new timers". Shoot some pool and savor what it means to be part of a community. Bobspring Utah Native
