About Riverside Motel
Riverside Motel is a great priced little motel in the middle of town, about half a mile from the train station. It is a work in progress, with clean rooms for a great value. The beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are nice and clean with good linen and blankets. The owner and manager is excellent, friendly, and very helpful, providing very good service. The location is close to downtown Helper, which is within walkable distance, and close to nearby activities like a bowling center. It is right off the main highway and close to a 24-hour convenience store. Some rooms may look outdated with cold tile floor, but they are comfy and surprisingly quiet inside, aside from random train activity from the nearby main line. Amenities include a kitchen nook with microwave, coffeemaker, and mini fridge, all clean and in good working order, plus good coffee and decent Wi-Fi. There is also an authentic Mexican food stand in the parking lot with a low cost and delicious menu. Overall, it is a safe place with a great sleep for an affordable price, more for workers than family, and is readily recommended for a stay in Helper.
