When I first walked in, I wasn't sure that I was in a state-run facility. It looks nothing like the other liquor stores-this one is in an old building on Main Street and has a little more character than the rest. But, true to Utah law, it is run by the state. However, you don't get to wander up and down aisles looking at all the bottles while you try to decide what you want. Everything is behind the counter and you tell the staff member what you'd like and they retrieve it for you. That process may not fly in larger areas, but in Helper, you're likely the only customer there.

Decent beer selection, good liquor prices. One of the first state liquor stores in the state to sell cold beer, and they have most of it available cold. A little awkward now due to Covid spacing in that you have to ask for everything over a counter. But where else are you going to go for your booze?

this place is a hidden treasure. When you go in ask them for a good place to eat in the usher you straight across the street to Mom mommys restaurant. When you go in there make sure to get hot wings cuz they were awesome.

Good people, good prices, good selection. By far my favorite liquor store. Not as big as the one in Price, and therefore less to choose from, but they have special things that I haven't found anywhere else. I've never left disappointed!
