I came here for a flat tire from a tent spike. They called me said they couldn’t fix and tried to sell me a tire ($406 for one) I took my tire to a different tire shop they were able to fix it. Go to Les Schwab if you have a flat. Discount Tire just wants to sell tires. They’re really nice though, just not my shop.

I had a flat tire and Rivian recommend discount tire. I was VERY impressed by everyone I worked with! They were kind, knowledgeable, and very timely. I was promised a time window and the repair was completed before the promised time. The tire prices were very fair and competitive. Highly recommend this tire shop!

tl;dr; Bad service & appalling incompetence.
About a month and half ago, I had an appointment for a tire rotation. When I arrived 10 minutes early, they had 2 empty bays. It took 40+ minutes before they even took my truck in.
This seemed strange and annoying at the time, but whatever.
I was leaving on a road trip later that same day. Normally I make sure my tire pressure is right before a road trip, but I assumed checking and adjusting the tire pressure was a normal thing any halfway competent tire tech would do when they rotate the tires—especially since many cars are normally different pressure on the back tires than on the front (mine is 29psi on the front and 32 on the back).
Well today, I was checking my tires before leaving on another trip. I fully expected them to be high due to the hot weather. But what I didn't expect to find was that the front tires were almost exactly 3psi higher than the back.
They obviously didn't check or adjust the pressure, and I've been driving around with my tires completely jacked up.
I've purchased my last 4 sets of tires from Discount Tire and I've never had a problem. But it's doubtful I will ever go back.

I changed the wheel and they said we have a wheel like yours in stock; a few hours later I noticed that they had installed a different model and brand of wheel; I asked to explain the situation, and they said yes, it’s bad, they need to change three more so that there are no problems with the car’s all-wheel drive

On a road trip- hit a large brick in the road. Blew two tires the evening before we had to be back in Colorado the next day. This Discount Tire location got us in first thing in the AM with the same set of great Michelins. Honored a Michelin warranty saving us $400 on 4 new tires. Installed within an hour. No delays getting back to Colorado in time. Amazing service and professionalism!

Discount tires has always taken care of my tire needs. I always feel confident that steer me in the right direction with choices I will have to make. This time it was a problem that required a couple trips and each time they made me feel important and that my time is valuable. The tech people who return my car keys to me always are informed on what I need to know and give me really great answers. I always feel like my money is well spent at Discount Tire on Van Winkle.

My mom took my car in because one of my tires got a nail in it, and without even looking at the car they told us they needed to replace all four tires.... We decided to go to Foothill Tire Pros instead and they quickly assessed the car and said they could patch up the one tire.

Absolutely stellar! The front desk gentleman was extremely knowledgeable and professional (Zack I think?), service was excellent and quick and they didn't try to upsell, but rather made recommendations that suited my needs. 100% recommend.

Don't bother with this location. Came in with a slow leak to get checked out on my vehicle before a trip. Steven said "yeah, we'll get it taken care of". Never gave me a time frame and just parked the car outside for an hour while me and my wife sat in the waiting room. Each time I asked the status he said my car was next in line, except they kept pulling in different vehicles. Ended up leaving after wasting an hour in the waiting room.
Considering I've managed service departments in the past with 10x the work load, Steven is clueless about customer service and time/work management. I typically avoid Discount for this reason, clueless employees. Thought I'd try again, but never again. Happy to pay for the repair and fast service, don't need your stupid free patch. Only stopped by here out of convenience to the freeway in the area.

I'd give a lower score if that was even an option. I had just got 4 new tires from this place and paid even extra for a warranty. Less than 2 weeks later one of my tires go flat and I cannot find the cause. So, I take it in to get inspected. They proceed to tell me that the chrome wheels on my tire are damaging my tires and is causing the flat. They say that they can have it replaced and that the cheapest option is $800+ dollars. So, I take it to another tire shop to get inspected and they find a nail in my tire...

Went in for a quote this at 9am this morning and the manager Berke quoted me $6,000 for tires & it would take 3-5 days to get them. Called the local dealership, the tires were $4k and same day install & just finished at 11 am. Getting ripped for $2k extra on top of the margins they are already making feels predatory & and hardly " Discount"

So impressed by their exceptional service! It was clear that these professionals knew exactly what they were doing. Despite not having an appointment, they took me in right away and addressed my tire issues with impressive speed and efficiency.
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process incredibly smooth.
They explained everything clearly and made sure I understood my options. I was in and out in no time, which was a huge relief!
