I can’t say enough good about this place. I am a nurse and my child was born in Las Vegas where everyone has a pool so I saw early on that swim lessons teach a survival skill that is needed at a very young age.Coach Katie D and coach Julio are fantastic skilled instructors. My child learned more In these 15 minute lessons than she ever did in 30-45 min grouplessons. She went from not being able to swim to learning strokes, freestyle and a variety of advanced swim styles. We have been coming regularly for two years and will continue to for some time.

My daughter is progressing much more quickly than she was with a competitor swim school. There are some issues with a few of the teachers having a lot of substitutes but if you get the right teacher it’s a good experience. The basement stairs are a bit scary and I fell down them a couple of times so be really cautious about that. I like that they push the kids out of their comfort zones. It can get crowded near the steps because there are so many lessons going on. My suggestion to the teachers would be to spread out.

Savannah is fabulous with teaching our 3 year old how to swim! The 1:1 lesson is the highlight of his week! He is progressing quickly and can almost swim on his own!

Amazing teachers, my child has learned quickly and confidentially. I notice All the teachers communicate clearly to all the children and in a way they will understand, they are all extremely patient and make sure everyone is comfortable and feels safe with them and in the water. Definitely recommend and have recommend to parents.

We had a good experience for the first few years we were there. Unfortunately, things have gotten worse and worse. They have a terrible make-up policy and will not offer a refund under any circumstances, even when they cancel lessons because of fecal matter in the pool. The last time we went, my daughter’s teacher did not show up. I was not notified and we sat there waiting for 5 mins before we finally went in to ask at the office. They informed me the teacher did not show up. When I asked for a refund for the lesson (over $40), I was told I was rude and behaving inappropriately. I never yelled or personally attacked anyone. I was just put out that I was not notified and then refused a refund. Also, one do the teachers, Julio, made fun of my daughter during one of her swim lessons. It made her feel very uncomfortable, so much she wouldn’t go back, even to finish her last lessons.

I can't speak to the quality of its swim lessons but as an applicant for hire I think this company is a complete mess. From giving incorrect times for when to show up to an interview, ghosting any messages for weeks at a time, to leading someone on until the day they start working. Then saying that you are not going to move forward with the application, even after an agreement was reached about when to start. The people working there seem like nice people however there is complete incompetence when it comes to running the business.

We have had our daughter enrolled in swim kids for a couple of months now. I'm fairly indifferent to the program. They schedule multiple 15 minute sessions per week for your child. The thought process is shorter lessons help keep the child focused and makes the best use of time which I agree with. However, the lessons are somewhat expensive and I think they could be better organized. You are penalized by paying for your session if you don't cancel within 24 hours. However, if they cancel your lesson within 24 hours there is no penalty. With our new instructor, we've been to four lessons and she has worked with our daughter once (you are assigned the same instructor for every session). All in all, our daughter is learning how to swim but this place is average just like this review.

I absolutely love SwimKids. The entire staff is so friendly and their one-on-one instruction is second to none. We love Jackie L. She is so kind and professional, and she pushed my child to be the best she could be! I highly recommend SwimKids! I wish there were more locations on the west side of the I-15!

If I could give this business less than one star, I would. While the newborn class was okay, as my daughter got older we tried the punch card. Despite almost two years of lessons, my daughter still could not even float on her back and she is a smart and athletic kid. The teachers were uncaring and impatient and the program simply doesn't work. We moved her to a new location and in two lessons she is full on swimming and finally enjoying it. And it appears many other parents had this exact same experience. Maybe this is partly due to the fact that the air in the swimming area is so chlorinated, you often end up with a sore throat and watery eyes from from spending 15 minutes there for a lesson. Its so unhealthy - especially for small children. In addition, we were charged twice for the punch card and then only given a credit for the overcharge. When the punch card renewed - they automatically charged me again and did not use the credit. Then they changed the rules and punch card program making it extremely inconvenient to schedule lessons, but would not refund the new punch card despite the change to the program. This place is a complete joke. They make money by overcharging and ripping off the customer. Buy beware - you will do much better elsewhere.

My son loves SwimKIds because of the individual attention and care shown by the instructors. We love it as parents because he has shown more growth in 2 months than 1.5 years at a local competitor.

My 3 year old son loves his swim lessons with Eve and Julia. The 1:1 is worth it! He is already moving up to the next level!

This is the best place for swimming lessons. My four yr old was terrified to put his face underwater and by the third class he was doing it on his own. He loves swimming now

We have been thrilled with our experience at Swim Kids. We started our oldest swimming with Miss Kara four years ago when she was one. Family and friends have been blown way by how well she can swim. Now she is working on advance swim strokes. We feel more comfortable with her swimming because she has learned water safety. We started our second at 7 months in the parent tot class and now in private lessons. It’s been great to have Kara watch our girls grow, know how each of them will be most successful in the water. The staff are always encouraging and adapting each lesson to where the child is at and ensuring it’s a positive experience. We are grateful for the owner, Liz, for creating a wonderful swim program.

The teacher is not nice at all. She's very rude and my kid is scared to death of even taking a bath after only two classes- he's only a toddler and he's not being treating as such. I am actually appalled. My last child was taught in Miami by former Olympians at Westminster school. This is nowhere near that! My expectations were too high. It seems this new location just hired whoever could pass a swim test because I don't see any professionalism and it's expensive and now I have to try to get my money back
