Anderson Cove Campground

Hours: Anderson Cove Campground is a popular facility located 10 miles east of Ogden, Utah, on the banks of Pineview Reservoir in scenic Ogden Valley. Visitors enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming in the scenic surroundings. The large campground contains five group sites that can each accommodate up to 100 people, two of which are accessible. All five group sites have large picnic shelters. Several single and double-family sites are also available. Vault toilets and drinking water are provided, but there are no showers. A small cove has been buoyed off to identify a swimming-only beach area. The campground store, located at the entrance, serves as the public contact and check-in station, offering a variety of camping supplies, snacks, and gifts. Visitors praise the campground's cleanliness, well-spaced campsites, and abundance of trees, which make it a great place to bring a hammock. The camp host is described as friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a great stay. While there are some issues with bees, the overall atmosphere is described as "amazing" and "great" for camping, with many visitors planning to return.
