Front end manger Mr. George is very friendly and gave us information about exploring local sites. Breakfast in hotel is good( value for price you pay). Overall our stay is good in this Hotel.

Terrible experience. First, when I arrived, they charged me $100 for the reservation. After I paid, the front desk clerk tried to charge me an additional $30 in cash for no apparent reason. Despite not receiving any receipt for this cash payment, I went ahead and paid it. Now that I’m back home, I’ve noticed three additional charges on my account: one for $30, another for $11.91, and another for $18.09. I called the hotel to check if there had been any mistake, but the explanations they gave me did not justify these charges at all.
Additionally, around 7 a.m., the front desk clerk came and opened the door to our room. We woke up startled, and he quickly shut the door and left.

All the staff were incredibly friendly, rooms/beds were clean and smelled like a 5 star hotel. Had a nice outdoor pool which I never would have expected for a 60$ a night motel. Saw some people complaining about the breakfast, which I think is ridiculous. There was coffee, little bagged muffins, yogurt cups, waffle maker, cereal, juice, bread, and it’s all free. Had an amazing stay and would for sure come back again.

i’m posting this for somebody that was on Facebook Take this into consideration next time you think about renting a room here obviously they don’t give a squat about local handicapped people.
“I have just a small word to say about the Rodeway hotel here in hurricane...
I was riding my electric wheelchair home and my battery went from charged to empty.. it was around 9 in the evening on the 8th.. so I went in and asked him if I can plug my chair in for about 10 minutes so I can get home.. he proceeds to tell me no, he says you can use the plug outside, he walks out no plug, so intelligent him i will give him a few bucks if I can charge my chair and I'll wait outside.. so as to not disturb anyone who may come in.. again he tells me No, I'm sorry but that is poor service.. even if I am not a actual over night customer.. how can you tell a man in a wheelchair that he can not plug in even for a few minutes to get enough of a charge to go anywhere else.. I would highly not recommend giving money to these people to stay at that cheap motel.. if they can't give a minute of their time to help a person from the community,then they don't deserve a dime of the communities money”

Overall this place was clean, comfortable, and close to the park. The beds were nice and comfortable, though my top sheet did have a stain on it. The bathrooms were clean and had good water pressure and space for my products, which is always appreciated. The only problem I really had here were that the breakfast is extremely lacking.

The front desk guy cancelled our stay because he was greedy. We booked the room at a 71.00 on bookin.com and because he was selling the rooms for 180 he called booking.com and cancelled our stay... What a piece....

Agree with previous reviews that Sonel is an asset to this hotel, so pleasant and helpful. It is an older property and this is probably reflected in the price. The room was good and beds comfy. Sadly the swimming pool was a let down it was filthy. The two housekeepers were hardworking and kept the rooms cleaned but the pool seriously needs attention if the hotel is to advertise this as a benefit of staying.

My wife and I have had a great experience at this hotel. It was extremely clean and the service was superb. Especially noted was how well we were taking care of by the front office staff member Sonel! She was always pleasant when we had any special needs! Her incredible smile and fantastic charismatic attitude was beyond any reproach! Mainly because of Sonel, we will be returning here next year! Give this establishment a try, you wont be sorry!! A+A+A+!

Floors are extremely dirty. Need footwear at all times. Breakfast was absolute trash. Juice machine is piss warm, yogurt is light and funky, and the muffins have a disgusting tainted taste. The phone doesnt even work in my room. Lastly they put a crackhead next to me that was outside every 20mins talking loudly on his phone.

Our room was clean. bed uncomfortable
Too high to get on. For handicap there were no amenities. No hand bars in bathroom .
Does two nights at $458.52 plus a $102.54 the last day
For 2 dogs witch was supposed to be included in our charge, dose this sound right to you for a 3 star room?

The location is great.
Service is good and friendly.
The room was not the cleanest.
The floor needed vacuumed.
The ceiling had food and other things stuck to it.
The bed sheets were clean and beds sleepable.
My girlfriend wasn't favorably impressed.
I will stay at the Rodeway Inn again on a guys trip.
