“I’m a big believer in supporting local institutions, I have heard good things about Cache Valley Bank over the years.The part of the building that looks like a lighthouse from my understanding, came from a historic ice-house further down in Hyrum, that Cache Valley Bank move to this location… ice houses existed before electricity became available, to allow ice all year round, by cutting ice blocks out of rivers and lakes in the winter and storing them in highly insulated buildings.Even though it’s been awhile, since they have opened at this location, I have noticed them still making minor improvements to the building. I hope they put some more stain on the front of the building, which is noticeably a different shade than the rest of the building.The Observatory on the top of the building is cool to look out of and the bank stated to me, that it is open to the general public during normal business hours.”

“Young girl knew how to help me open a new CD. When she looked up my accounts, she could see that I was a member of the presidents club. I opened another CD for 60 months at almost 4.5 %. She clarified how the accounts for 60 and 48 months were doing. The 48 month is going to end at the end of April2024. If the CD are still high, I will renew the CD and let it stay the same..or go for a couple of years...depending on my health.The USU (Golden West) credit union is the best for it's members, and I consider their rates in comparison with the others and treat us in a more personal and pleasant way, than the Bank I've been with for more than 50 years.Thanks for being the best! She helped me by printing last years interest gain for my taxes. I've always been treated like a person, and a part of the company (family).”

“Went in to get a new card printed and was helped by Blake. He was so easy to talk to and in the course of our conversation I stated one day I was going to come back to open a money market account. He started telling me all the reasons they are good and I had lots of questions and he answered them all with professionalism and not once did he make me feel bad about not knowing things. He got the account all set up and then helped me open a Christmas savings account as well. I thought these were things I needed an appointment for but he took care of everything and helped me understand it all. Very impressive customer service and knowledge. I told his boss he needs a raise and he really does.”
