I went there in the mid 1970s. Some cousins also went at the same time. We stayed for a week or two. We did endless crafts and outdoor activities. I'm sure times were different back then. Archery still? Big Ben... If it still exists, you know what it is (hint, hold your nose). I was curious if this camp was still around. It is. I'm not sure it's remotely the same 50 years later. I sure hope so. It is one of the best memories in my life.

The camp is a great location and had all the amenities our large group needed. However it was not well stocked with cleaning supplies and did not seemed to have been cleaned before our groups arrival. There was ALOT of mess left from a previous group that we had to deal with

Honestly it is just more of an overnight daycare. Not much of a "camp" experience with little to no exploration of nature. Just daycare activities geared almost entirely towards little kids. The camp is surrounded by beautiful land and the older boys went on ONE hike and it lasted about 20 minutes. Time management was terrible, campers were constantly waiting from activity to the next. While the counselors seemed friendly, the Directors were not. Not a fun atmosphere at all. Food was nasty and they gave very little of it. Half the campers got sick and threw up after eating the chili. The entire WEEK they were there, my teenage boys were only allowed to shower twice. Disgusting. The only reason I am giving it 2 instead of 1 star is because the camp is fairly pretty and the girls counselors seemed nice.

2 of my kids (12/13) attended camp this year. They had a wonderful time. They had great time riding horses and building tents. They learned many life skills.

It was pretty fun, the counsellors were nice and stuff like that, but the only thing I didn’t like was that they take photos and film you then put it in a slideshow for everyone to see without your consent or permission, so yea other then that I was fun, I totally recommend this camp!

This is our oldest's 6th summer @ Camp Roger, and it's our youngest's first year for an entire week there. Both kids absolutely loved their week-long adventure, and they're already asking about when they get to go back!

My 7year old son attended the mini Camp Roger in 2022. He loved it!! The councilors and activities were fun and supportive. He had so many enriching experiences which foster independence, creativity, and kindness. The location is in/near Kamas and is so beautiful. This year he is 8 and is all signed up to attend the full Camp Roger. He can’t wait! He already says he wants to go back every year and eventually become a councilor. Let’s see what happens :)

I stayed 2 nights last year because one of the counsellors got covid. But it was still super fun and me and my little sister made friends. We are still friends to this day.

Camp Roger was the 1st camp my 7 year old had been to. He stayed 3 nights. It's been over a month and he talks about it multiple times a week. He had so much fun and he loved the counselors that were working. I think this will be a permanent fixture of our future summers going forward

Wow! I took some girls up to camp for the parents. Every person in uniform had a different accent from a different nationality!! I can't imagine the experience and culture the girls will enjoy. The cabins look quaint from the outside and they had eccentric so well organized as cars filled into camp.

I went to Camp Roger's 60 years ago. Great memories. I think every child should have that experience. So glad to see it is still going strong.
