Thank you Hatch Auto Repair of Kanab!! My Jeep had a longstanding problem which the St George Jeep dealership and another Kanab shop could not fix even after I spent about $2,000. Mr Hatch fixed it for less than $200.00! Thank you again.

Brent is an honest and proactive professional mechanic. He has helped out tremendously with both of our Toyota vehicles keeping them in excellent shape. I’ve dealt with the questionable auto parts scammers in the past and he has great integrity and communication. Highly recommend A++++

Completely worthless shop. They actually close 15 minutes before and can’t put a plug in a tire in that amount of time- or just won’t. Glad it wasn’t an elderly woman with a flat. Any man worth his salt can put a car on a jack, pull out a little screw, and plug a tire in less than 15 minutes.

I rarely leave a bad review, but I’m making an exception. This dude is a clown. I asked him if he could grease up my JBA off road UCA’s which are accesible thru the wheel well and have 3 zerk fittings. Easily a 5 min job to complete both. Guy was talking about not having any time and that he needed to hoist it up. A bunch of nonsense, if I hadn’t forgotten my grease gun I would have never encountered this 2 bit shop. I brought up how easy it was trying to encourage him to basically take my money and he told me to do it myself then. Which I did, bought a new grease gun and grease for $30 which is about what he was going to charge. Now I have a years worth of extra grease thanks to this bozo who didn’t want my business.

My truck dropped a caliper bracket bolt on the way into town. The weekend, of course. Monday morning, Hatch was able to check things over, pull all of the bolts, add Loc-Tite, and torque to spec. They were able to work me in. Fair pricing and very accommodating. Thanks, guys!

Had an oil light on my rental car. Stopped in to see if it was serious. He checked the oil immediately, reassured me everything was fine, didn't charge me a cent. Lovely, honest gentleman who knew what he was doing. As a visiting Brit, this is what I hoped small-tiwn America would be like!

I was told by the owner that I needed new tires because of the alignment being off. My back tires were wearing out. I took some tires in to have put on and the tires that needed replaced were left on. I tried explaining the problem when I went to pick the car up and was met with confusion and a very hostile attitude.

He gets confused about what he’s doing, and does a really poor job of explaining the work he has done. He’s extremely rude. Worst business experience I’ve had in Kanab. I’m shocked he’s still in business.

The rear left bearing of our Accord started making noise after we left home in CO for a week of vacation. Since it can be dangerous to drive a lot like that, I had to replace it. The noise was changing at different speeds and when turning left. The owner of Hatch test drove the car and put it on their lift. They confirmed it was indeed the rear left bearing. They quoted 2 hours of work and said initially they might be able to reduce that. Once they were sure I was going to use them they didn't reduce anything. They fixed it but charged 2 hours for a job which Kelly Blue Book says should take between 15 and 45 minutes for my specific car. Once they started working on it the car was ready in less than one hour, but they still charged 2 hours for labor.

My sister's truck had problems with the muffler on our trip, we were able to make it in before closing and they provided her with a quick, cheap and temporary fix until she could make it home. Appreciate the small town service, even though we're from out of town, thanks Doug!
