The grilled chicken was so juicy and flavorful, and the onion rings were some of the best we've ever had. They were perfectly breaded and crispy. My husband had the double bacon cheeseburger, and he enjoyed every last bite. Make sure to stop by if you're in the area!

Is this place closed forever or just for the winter? It's been closed the last few times I tried to visit.

The ham and cheese omelets are terrific with crispy hash browns. The grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and English chips are fantastic. Taco soup can't be beat! Homemade daily yummy cherry, blueberry, and apple pies. Great place to meet with the locals and chew the fat in a comfy friendly atmosphere. Congrats to the new owners Jackie and Brendan and hope they have a terrific future with this little country, Down Home Cafe.Parking: Small area to park in because it's a busy place because of the excellent food;however, there's lots of room to park on the side of the street.

Stopped in on our way back from Bryce Canyon. It was the only cafe open in all the towns we stopped in, and I’m so glad it was! The food was amazing, you can tell the chef takes pride in his cooking and it absolutely shows. The waitress and owner were wonderful and fun to talk to. We had a rambunctious two year old with us who was tired of being cooped up in the car, and they enjoyed letting him run around to his hearts content and laughed at his antics. (thankfully no other guests were around!) All in all, so very glad we stopped here, and we want to make this a stop every year!

In the middle of nowhere the Koosharem Cafe pops up. Stopped in just for kicks and was treated to a great burger. The French fries are the best.
