The Best Western Plus Zion West Hotel offers a comfortable and convenient stay for visitors to Zion National Park. Guests consistently praise the clean rooms and comfortable beds, with one reviewer highlighting the "jacuzzi tub room" as a highlight. The hotel's breakfast is also a major selling point, with a wide variety of hot and fresh options available daily. Reviewers note that the breakfast staff, including a "new cook" who was "polite and accommodating," go out of their way to ensure guests are well-fed and satisfied. The hotel's location is another plus, as it is directly off the highway leading to Zion and close to coffee shops, gas stations, and grocery stores. While it is about a 25-minute drive to the national park, many guests find this to be a fair trade-off for the convenience and value the hotel offers. The pool and hot tub are also well-maintained, and the hotel is pet-friendly. The staff at the Best Western Plus Zion West Hotel are generally described as friendly and helpful, with one reviewer praising the "gentleman that checked us in" for his "genuine kindness" and a "quick history lesson." However, one reviewer did note a less-than-friendly interaction with the employee at the front desk, suggesting that the level of customer service can vary. Overall, the Best Western Plus Zion West Hotel provides a comfortable and affordable option for those exploring Zion National Park and the surrounding area.
I stayed at the hotel for a few days to visit Zion Canyon. First of all, the breakfast was much better than I thought and there was a lot of food to eat. However, the ice maker on the second floor was out of order, so it was inconvenient to use, and many cockroaches seen outside the hotel at night scared me.

Great place to stay and as close to Bryce Canyon as you can get without staying inside the park. Breakfast is a real buffet and not just typical hotel fare. They even have busboys clearance tables. Be prepared to drop a tip in the jar as you leave.
